highway dreamer

I dont want to hurt the retailers, but this shopping center is unsafe. Kids from the buildings across the street roam the area asking for money, and they ride their bikes and skateboards along the storefront area-completely disregarding the signs telling them not to. They zoom past so fast I actually lost my balance once and almost fell. Its also filthy. Litter and trash are everywhere. Ive lived in this area for 34 years and Ive always shopped here. No more. Im going elsewhere.

I go to this place for many needs. The Gaint supermarket is one of the reasons. Saku Japan is another reason. This restaurant sale teriyaki chicken for $6.50. It is a balance lunch with chicken, mixed vegetables and rice. Portion large enough to feed a hard labor worker. Cross street has fryed chicken restaurant. Sears department store is also one reason for me to go. This Sears store is a large Sears. It is not usual near DC.

There are 6 bus routes come to the White Oak mall. The mall is nearby Sears stores and comprises a bank, T-mobile store, Walgreens, some small restaurants (Asian, Hispanic, and African food) 2 nails stores and a haircut salon, Subway, Sweet Frog ice cream, and so on. Its very convenient not only to residents of several apartments around the White Oak mall but also visitors.

The shopping center is old. There is plenty of parking in front of the Sears but very little on the other side of the shopping center by Giant. The Sears has very few customers in it even though it is a very large store. Besides the Giant there are several other small stores and restaurants including a bowling alley. There is also a Boston Market here.

This shopping center has a little bit of everything one may need from a big chain grocery store (Giant) to a small specialty grocery store, a frozen yogurt spot (Sweet Frog) to a bowling alley. There is also a big chain department store (Sears) to a big chain shoe store (Payless) and many other stores and personal care shops.

A Private User

This store is closed... This was where I always went to get a movie, and was very sad when it closed. It was a great location and plenty of parking. I really do not know what more to say, but google says my review must be 100 characters. It should be taken off of this list.

A great grocery chain "Giant" and ethnically diverse restaurants. We also have shops like "Subway, Payless shoe store, Green Frog frozen yogurt, a dollar store, just to name a few. Anything you need or want from eating to clothes can be found in the White Oak shopping center.

Im not a fan. I dont live far from there, but I tend to avoid it. Very crowded, especially around Giant. Many, many people in and out of there. Hunan Manor is great for Americanized "Chinese food", but thats about the only place I can recommend.

The parking situation is always a mess. The Walgreens isnt the best but the Giant is really good. The liquor store has a wonderful selection (you can even find mead there) and a couple of the restaurants are delicious, especially Hunan Manor.

Usually easy to find parking. Theres Pho, Giant supermarket, Capital One bank, Payless, Pizza Palace, Sakura Japan, Subway, Sprint store, Rite Aid, Dollar Store, a pet supply store, Chinese food, Indian food, a bowling alley, jewelry store

Has a Sears, Giant, Pizza Castle, Pho, Pet Valu, Payless Shoes, Nail Salon and more located here (not too much more, I practically named everything). Its a ok place, I dont like the Giant though: crowded and smells funny

White Oak shopping center has a lot of great places to eat out of I love going to their giant there produce is so fresh I love going to Sears and I love going to the Sears auto parts store there too

Garbage blowing around and a fight starting to start in the parking lot. There are some nice establishments here, but it is starting to get to the point where I do not want to go there after dark.

The ground are beautiful but management need to do a better job with the upkeep of the building. The entry doors of building A is always breaking and the elevators smell and are falling apart.

The parking lot in this area makes it easy and convenient to shop, here. The variety of shops also helps. If you cant find something in one place, chances are the store next door has it.

Entering/exiting/traversing this place is a bit of a pain. It has an alcohol library, a great Indian spot, and a Sears for when youre in a rush and cant wait for Amazon to deliver.

Needs more lighting at night. Some stores very overpriced. I think they make up the price for items depending on who the customer is. Some of my items changed price a few times.
