WORSE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE IN CALVERT COUNTY!!! Rude staff, long lines always with one or two lanes open of the ten or so they have in the store. Beyond that point, I recently got married and had a family member buy two gift cards gifts valued at $100 each. Well the lovely staff here gave one gift card with the receipt and a matching barcode and the other a non-active gift card with a non-matching gift receipt. Long story short the empolyee who checked out stole one of the gift cards. We were able to get this sorted and a refund but, the fact this even happened is very upsetting. Go to Giant, Weis, Walmart anywhere but here save yourself the trouble.

The people in the bakery are very rude. I called about ordering a cake and wanted to come down there immediately to speak with the baker in person so I could show her exactly what I wanted. Apparently the baker couldnt wait 10 minutes past her shift to meet with me. Lost my business and will surely not recommend this bakery to anyone I know. They are not accommodating and definitely not the friendliest people.

They have removed self checkout lanes without increasing number of cashiers. You can no longer get in and out of here in less than 20 minutes even if youre only buying milk. I used to be Safeway loyal but every service counter is so slow and the checkout experience so miserable that I dont imagine I will ever return.

Problem with cake, ordered week in advance cheese cake frosting, picked it up and was told ran out of cream cheese frosting. Now yellow cake with regular frosting. Special orders arent special.at all when they are not what was orderd.

The experience here was great the store is clean and the product selection is good although the prices on certain items tend to be a bit higher .

Lines way too long. Not enough cashiers. Lines were 6 or 7 people deep. Spent longer in line than shopping. This is my typical experience here.
