ALDI is a great little grocery store that has been branching off into the style of a department store. I come here occasionally for certain foods that would normal cost 3-4x more at a traditional grocery store. They have several selections of non-name brand foods that are often priced a fraction of what theyre imitating and sometimes taste better. The prices are often ridiculously low, even on some name-brand food items. I have not ventured into their non-food items, though. One caveat when you shop there: Bring a quarter to get yourself a shopping cart. Its an easy system, though: At the cart depot, pop the quarter into the handle spot and itll unchain itself from the rest of the other shopping carts. when youre done shopping and putting your groceries away, you bring the cart back to the cart depot and plug the receiving chain in to get your quarter back. This system cuts down on lazy folks leaving their carts in parking lot. Have you seen a Walmart parking lot? You need an employee or two or 10 just to bring the carts back into the store. ALDIs system is pretty smart as an afterthought and since it is also a smaller store, you wont have to park a quarter mile away to go shopping. This store is conveniently located on a western cut of Pasadena and the southeastern section of Glen Burnie. Plenty of parking and restrooms inside. Quick facts! ALDIs sister company is Trader Joes. ALDI is an abbreviation for Albrecht Discount.

I shop almost exclusively at ALDI for my family. They not only have fantastic prices, but the products are high quality. I really appreciate the effort this company puts in to removing artificial stuff from their foods. I also appreciate that there are new things and limited buy a every week, so our menu is always fresh. I have also found great home goods, toys, and seasonal items. The only downside to ALDI is that you may not be able to find those rather specific food items on your list, but once you are used to what is generally in stock you will be prepared for an extra stop if needed.

Love Aldi! They have amazing pizzas for $5-$6 that are extra large and not greasy. They have great pork chops too! Im a fan of their Greek yogurts, Fit and Active line of healthy foods and their frozen family dinners and frozen veggies- it saves a lot of time and money for me on hectic days. I went to Giant and compared what I bought there (item for item) and saved $65 in one trip- thats with my cart full to the brim and buying milk, eggs, baking supplies, meats and so forth. Never switching back!

I love Aldis and I would love to give them 5 stars. but where they dont deserve it is on there follow through with customer service. twice now I have taken the time to contact them with issues that I think would improve their stores and they have claimed that they have tried to contact me; when I know it is not true Ive supplied them with the proper contact information and never heard from anyone. And the email of acknowledgement they send you is a do not reply email, how convenient.

Im from Germany (where ALDI is originally from), so I was very glad to find it here when I moved to the US. Its not as nice as the ones back home - it actually reminds me of what ALDI used to be like in Germany maybe 20 years ago - but I still like it; very reasonable prices and decent choice (even though that could be better). I love that they sometimes have German products and usually stock up on those when they do. Not so keen on their meat.

What an awesome store. While its small you can find really great prices that beat out the big name stores. The shopping cart system took some time. You put a quarter in, remove the cart and shop. When you return the cart and lock it to an existing cart your quarter pops out. Some less fortunate folks in the area will collect the carts and return them for you thus making $.25 in the process. My wife has even come home with workout equipment.

I was glad to see this stores milk prices compare to the Glen Burnie location. It uses to be they were $0.25+ higher than our regular store. I know that doesnt seem like much but when your buying 3-4 a week that can add up to a gallon at the end of the month! I do like the fact that this store has a larger selection of non grocery items.

My favorite grocery store hands down! Its a bit small but it always has everything we need for our recipes. I would recommend going first thing in the boring to beat the cart traffic inside. Also, there arent a lot of cashiers so make sure youre giving yourself enough time. Dont forget your bags and quarter!

Aldi is an inexpensive and conveniently sized quality grocery store, where you can get your usual grocery shopping done quickly and easily. However, there is not enough shelf space to carry some specialty items found in larger grocery stores.

ALDI has the best prices around. Most of the brands are their own but are very comparable to the national brands of the same products. Moreover, this German owned store has more German food than any other store in the area.

Good selection and typically well stocked. Parking is always an issue. The parking lot is small. Theres an overflow parking lot behind the shopping center but it may require you to wear hiking boots to get to the store.

I love this place! I dont mind picking produce out of a box or any other product for that matter because the bottom line is the quality is very good, I can get certain organic foods and the price is right! Love it.

Seriously, you cant beat 57 cents for a carton of eggs. And lots of other good deals. Just be aware that you only get bags if you pay for them, so bring reusables.

Atypical Aldis. Check out was quick and convenient. Shopping here is way more convenient than shopping at the Walmart right across the Street.
