Terrible experience! Elegant Touch doesnt even deserve the one star that I gave it. Went there for my daughters prom dress. The staff is NOT friendly at all. Already went for 2 fittings and after the last one we were told that the seamstress would complete the alterations for pick up at the next appt. We got there only to be told that the seamstress wasnt in, but the one woman at the desk said that if we were picking up then it wouldnt matter that the seamstress was out. My daughter tried the dress on and the alterations were not complete. The hem dragged on the floor and it looked terrible! We had to make yet another appt and I told them that I wish we had been notified of the seamstress being out because today was a wasted trip (especially with gas prices now) and now we will have to make 2 more trips (one for the hem to be pinned up and one for pick up). That is if the alterations are done correctly. The same woman at the desk said that they had called everyone to notify them to reschedule their appts. I told her that we were not notified and yet she said that someone called us because there was a check mark by my daughters appt. This was a contradiction from what she originally said when we first arrived. I wish now that I had taken my friend up on her offer to do alterations for my daughters prom dress especially after dealing with the staff. I should have taken my daughter to Juliets where I purchased my wedding dress and my daughters bridesmaid dress. They are absolutely pleasant and wonderful to deal with and will bend over backwards for you. Going to Elegant Touch is NOT a pleasant experience. I should have known from the first time that we went there when we had to search for someone to wait on us and search again for help in getting someone to clip the dresses when my daughter tried them on. This was ironic considering that we were the only customers in the store at the time.

This is what a bride wants when she is searching for her wedding dress! As soon as I walked in with my bridal party we were instantly greeted by my consultant (I didnt have to tell her my name- she was like "Hi! Are you ____?"). Once I sat down with her for a moment and showed her the pictures of dresses I like, the vision my groom and I have for our wedding and my budget she went on a mission! She came back with a handful of dresses ready for me to try on- some of what I wanted, and a few out of my comfort zone. The dressing room was spacious enough for me to move around in, complete with a mirror so I could see myself before everyone else did. Once I walked out to show my bridal party the dresses, Despina was great in answering questions about the dress that anyone had. If I liked a dress enough she talked about ways to give it the WOW factor. After we narrowed the dress down to the final 2, she was great in helping me decide without the pressure of a salesperson. She was honest and real- exactly what a bride needs to have, not someone who says "you look great in this" every time a new dress goes on. My only "complaint" was that after I found THE dress, I was informed it was a discontinued dress (meaning it couldnt be ordered new and was an off the rack dress- unfortunately it had imperfections (snags in the satin and stains) and that they wouldnt really be able to wiggle on the price). Given the rather high price ($800 before alterations, etc.) and the multiple imperfections (snags, and runs in the satin) I had to say No to the dress. I wish I would have known about this before trying the dress on, just so I wasnt let down. Overall, I was very happy and would recommend them to other people. Just make sure you ask if a dress is off the rack or not BEFORE you try it on...

I have had an absolutely AMAZING experience with Elegant Touch. I was able to find the PERFECT dress in a knick of time with their help. I was at first nervous coming in because of my experience in other stores (poor costumer service and selection), but the Elegant Touch ladies were absolutely wonderful and helpful. We (my mom and I) had Colleen during our first consultation. She was professional, sweet, kind and very, very helpful. During our consultation, we had so many questions and requests to try certain things on, etc. Colleen did not hesitate to answer any of our questions. She was even available throughout the process of selecting the dress to the final fitting and even saw us off when we took the dress home! Colleen really made our shopping a very positive one! And this goes for everyone working at the shop. We were also able to find dresses for my bridesmaids and tuxes for the boys. While it may seem like an arduous task to try to find the right tuxes for 8 groomsmen and dresses for 8 bridesmaids plus a flower girl, a ring bearer, MOB and MOG dresses; we were able to find everything we needed without any hassle. We were also able to get our alterations done at the shop. I have had friends who bought dresses at other shops and later learned they had to go elsewhere to get their alterations done, so I was a bit worried about it. Having the alterations done in-house was definitely one less thing to worry about! I am really happy with the experience. Everything was professionally done down to the last details. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Terrible! In over 20 years of being a part of weddings as a groomsman or even Best Man, I have never experienced anything like it! The owner and his staff/family are so rediculously rude that words cant even describe it. With all of the mistakes made from delivering of the wrong suits and ties two days before my wedding, to poor alterations on my wifes wedding gown; they would take no responsibility for any of it. It was to a point to where they wouldnt even apologize for the inconvenience or their mistakes. It was surreal! They lack so much customer service sense, professional ability, and business integrity that it is amazing they can do any business. It was so bad we had to go to Macys and purchase our own ties for my groomsman to wear 2 days before the wedding. We rented suits, and they got us tuxedos, so we had no vest or cumberbun to cover our waist lines. Tuxedo pants dont have belt loops. It was the only hangup in over a year of planning for a wedding with over 250 guests attending, and we didnt even get a simple "Were sorry". Unbelievable!

Think twice before you purchase a dress here. Everyone is sweet and friendly until they take your money. In terms of alterations and additions, everything is possible... until they take your money. Before you officially buy a dress, ask to meet with their seamstress (who is an absolute witch, to put it lightly). Shell scoff at any request and tell you its impossible, even something as simple as straps. She acts as if any poor quality work she does on your dress is a huge favor, despite the fact you will shell out major money for it. If you want to buy a dress off the rack, feel free to do so here. But their customer service, which is probably the worst Ive EVER experienced, will make any alterations process a nightmare. They will overcharge you for poor quality and bad attitudes. I would NEVER choose this place again.
