My experience with these people was horrible. I called this store asking if I could sell them my old WWE action figures. They said that they were not in need for action figures at the moment with a slight attitude. I asked politely why on their website (before they changed it) it said buy sell or trade toys anytime. This women says back "We do not need action figures right now" and hangs up on me. I call back asking for the manager and ironically the same women I was speaking with was the manager. I repeated what I said in the first phone call that I wanted to sell my action figures to them and like she said before they were not looking for them at the moment. I respected that, but my point was that they needed to change their website because that was false advertising. She says in reply "Do not tell me what to do, I am about to call to get your phone disconnected. Now let me speak with your parents" That was pretty much the end with the conversation but I suggest going to a reasonable toy store with respect.

Be cautious and do not trust the owners "expertise" in the vintage items sold in this store; do your own research before purchasing. I spent $800 on an "original" vinyl cape jawa as a surprise gift for my husband who collects Star Wars items. After a quick 10 minute google search we found out, with 100% certainty, the rare and expensive part of this figure, the vinyl cape, was 100% fake. I brought the figurine back and the owner accused me of altering the item! After the owner suggested a store credit I insisted on a total refund because I will never spend another penny in that store. Please do not be fooled into possibly purchasing worthless items here. You should be able to trust a store like this but learn from my experience and do your own research.

I have been shopping at the Toy Exchange for over 20 years at the Wheaton store. This local business is a treasure. The staff is friendly and helpful, the selection of toys and games is great. I especially love the large selection of model trains and classic toys that are appropriate for a wide range of ages (even adults!) The prices for these toys are in line with other high-end stores, and the prices for the less technical toys seem surprisingly reasonable. I really appreciate the knowledge the owner has for toys from all eras, so much that the Antiques Road Show came to interview them. After seeing the episode, it reminded me that they had a new location and I had to visit. I want disappointed! A great stop for the young and the young-at-heart.

I had a great experience at this store. The employees were VERY friendly and provided me with TERRIFIC service. All of my questions were answered, and other toy suggestions were offered based on my toy preferences. Wonderful toy selection and fair prices based on toy condition. For those who are looking to find their favorite toy from their youth or purchase a vintage toy for your little ones, the Toy Exchange is a MUST.

We were visiting Maryland from California and came across this toy store while we were out and about. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My husband is an old toy and star wars junkie. He found tons of great stuff and the owner gave him a great deal on everything he purchased. This will be on our list of stops for future visits to Maryland! Thanks guys you made my hubbys day.

I entered the store 15min before closing but the employee told they were closing and to come back tomorrow. I respond with the obvious in which he told that he had to go become his Viagra kick in early and he could waste anymore time . I could help to look down at his sweat pants and for sure he had a Woodrow Wilson in the house . . I couldnt help but to laugh and walk out .

I visited the Toy Exchange this weekend in their new location...love it! Parking was ample and the larger store space is great. I was happy to see that ownership remained the same, and had a great time browsing and buying from the expanded slot car selection. Looking forward for a return visit.

This store is awesome for the classic toy collector of any generation. The owner is very helpful. I bought a couple of action figures and was pleased to see how good the prices are compared to ebay.
