Ive been to this store several times, and have only good things to say about the place. The proprietor is a light-hearted jokester who makes everybody feel at home. The size of the store isnt as daunting as the chain warehouses it would compete with, so you can get what you need without having to sift through the less inspiring toys that a kid would probably hate you for anyway. Theyve always had what Ive been looking for or given great suggestions for (well-received) alternatives. I have to admit, even though I am 25, I have not been able to resist several of the toys and puzzles on the menu. If you need to find a toy for a child Im sure you will find it here, and may even leave with something for yourself as well (I would highly recommend the buckeyballs, scrabble flash, and waboba).

I have been going to this toy store since I was a baby and Im still delighted every time I visit. There is a wide selection of toys to choose from and the store has a character that you cant find in large commercial venues. There arent many family-owned businesses in Bethesda anymore and you couldnt ask for better customer service here.The storeowner or other employees are always more than willing to help you find what youre looking for and help make your experience easy and efficient. But beware, this store stocks some seriously enticing toys, and Ive always found it difficult to leave empty handed!

I love this toy store! It has a wide variety of merchandise and has an unusual combination of high end, pricy or imported items, "regular" selections from major brands and inexpensive discount store type items. And then in addition there is the pool merchandise. Helpful and friendly staff and one stop toy shopping!

Dont be fooled -- this is much more than a pool store! The selection of toys is amazing! The staff were helpful without hovering, and I spent almost two hours in there. Best of all, they wrapped my Christmas gifts in less than a quarter of the time it would have taken me to do it!

True toy store. Most every genre but the owner picks and chooses what is there, not some marketing guru. They care about the kids there.
