So here is my tale of wasted time at Nationwide. I had worked out a deal through email with Erwin Scofield for a Nissan Pathfinder before going in on a Saturday. I just needed for them to get the vehicle in as the three they had on the lot were not the right color. I offered to put a deposit down over the phone for $1000 but Erwin assured me I had to go in. I have purchased over 10 new cars through the years and most of them had to be brought in from somewhere else and I have never had to go in before the vehicle was there. However I have never purchased a Nissan so I thought, ok, maybe they are different. Nope. Erwin wanted me to come in I am assuming I was lying about my deal from Tischer so I had to produce the email. Luckily I could pull it up on my phone. My guess is after that failed he wanted to find a way to gouge more money from my deal so he tried to talk me into a car they had on the lot that they could change the deal with, or so he could talk me into a bunch of warranties, babbles, and bolt ons. Since I was not biting he told me he needed 20 minutes to get things together. I had already been there 20 minutes at this point and I was only supposed to be signing a form for them to order it. I left, ate diner, and came back. When I got back he said "you have to come back Monday, no one can order the vehicle now.". So now I am out that 40 minutes and no closer to the car. He then tells me they are losing 800 bucks on the sale so I should be grateful, which is unlikely. My guess is he wanted me to leave because he realized I was not going to be as profitable as someone else and he could not "Bait and Switch" me. Needless to say. I would tell anyone to stay away. I spoke with my neighbors and they agreed that Nationwide was lousy and told me how there oil changes for life was bogus and that they were charged every time they went in. I ended up going to Bob Bell in Dundalk and walked with my new car same day, no hassle, same price. Good luck in your search for a good dealer and stay away from from Nationwide, try Tischer or Bob Bell.

Let me preface this review with the fact that I have very bad social anxiety and getting a car just sent me into a frenzy. I went here on a whim. I had been contemplating getting a new car for a couple months now, but was too nervous to actually do it. When I entered the dealership, I was immediately met by a younger and newer salesman named Scott. He was a very nice gentleman, but you could tell he was new and he couldnt answer a lot of our questions or had to "consult" with the more experienced salesman. Ultimately, we were turned over to Chris. He was EXTREMELY patient with me and understanding. He just asked that I be open and honest and the worst he could tell me was "no." At some points I became really quiet and reserved and disconnected because I was uncomfortable. Not with him, but with the car buying process. But he: gave me all the time I needed, let me call friends to discuss, and he even gave me time just to be by myself and to reflect. He kept saying "if you need a minute, just let me know and I can walk away." He even called the salesman at the desk next to me away so I could be in complete solitude. It sounds silly, but sometimes you just need a moment to reflect and process. Especially if you have anxiety like myself. He new that I really wanted a new car and he was determined to see me inside of one. Most salesmen, I feel like, are just trying to sell you something and dont really care what happens when you leave the lot. Chris seems like a very genuine person and he ACTUALLY CARES about his customers. He made sure I was comfortable and happy every step of the way. He even gave me his cell phone number and told me that if I ever needed something or wanted to add any accessories onto my car, to let him know. I honestly feel like I could go on and on about what a wonderful guy Chris was, but I dont want to make a book-long review. If you go to this deleaership you would be doing yourself an injustice if you did not ASK FOR CHRIS. :) I am a VERY proud owner of a Nissan Juke!

The first thing I expect to happen when giving a business $4,000 is not to be told that I need to do something immediately. I can understand if it is something that needs to be done / is imperative. However, when I was in the very last stage of my visit and about to leave, I was told that I "need to move my car immediately". I asked for a reason, I wasnt given one. I pointed out that as soon as the employee I was talking to got off the phone, I would be leaving, it didnt matter. I pointed out that, it was the only parking spot available in the lot when I arrived (not only did that validate my parking choice, but would be a major limiting factor on where I could move my car to), that also didnt matter. To me the whole situation seemed absurd. I had no other place to park at the time, moving my car to another lot would just increase the distance needed to walk when leaving. It was actually recommended that I move behind another car and block them in, because that is somehow more reasonable than being parked in the last open spot (not making that up, they did suggest it). They were willing to move my car for me, so that I would need to walk further when leaving (presumably very soon). In fact, the only explanation that I had been given for why I NEED to move my car IMMEDIATELY, was because the owner wanted me to. In fact, I had to speak with 4 different employees in the course of 6 minutes about being parked on the parking lot while performing a transaction to give them several thousand dollars. it wasnt until the 4th employee that it was even acknowledged, how preposterous the situation was. When the person I was speaking to hung up the phone, I had my papers signed and was walking to the door in 52 seconds(I timed it). Cant say I was made to feel very welcome. I only wish it had happened sooner so that I could have more easily justified taking my repairs anywhere else.

Most HORRIBLE service ever. THEY BREAK YOUR CAR. I brought it in in 2010 for a battery malfunction, they made me pay for a new battery but could not charge the new battery. So they had me drove the car back in an unchangeable battery. Later got it fixed at a friends shop, the batterywont charge because was installed poorly by the Nissan Dealer service. Recently the car needed the cat-converter replaced. Since its still under warrantee, I took it to this Nissan service center. The car drove fine, but didnt pass emission. A Dave person told me that they cant replace the converter because it was caused by engine problems, and its gonna cost close to 5g. I did not want to spend that kind of money, so I just decided to pick my car up. Soon after the car got out of the parking lot, the car started shaking fiercely and is making extremely loud rumbling noises. Called the dealer, Joe asked me to call Dave tomorrow (Dave left) and asked me to not put the blame on them. If you cant work on my car, at least return my car in the same condition. No certified dealer should provide such horrendous experience. DO NOT LET THEM TOUCH YOUR CAR. __ UPDATE This Dealer said that they are not going to do anything about the car, and claimed that they didnt change a thing. Has a F rating on BBB. PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM.
