I went to staples a little while ago to buy a new kendle. I was interested in a hotspot however It was the mobile persons day off. The manager of the store "phill" informed me that the mobile consultant was on his way in to assist me. after about 10 mins I was greeted by steven johnson. He was so sweet. Now I am not the most tech savvy person in the world so I had a lot of questions, but steven took his time with me and answered ever question I had, and set me up with a verizon hotspot. although they did not have the tablet that I wanted I stock they were able to order it and have it shipped to the store. Steven was even willing to come in the next day on his day off to assist with setting it up on my hotspot and going over some of its features with me. but i decided to just come in on a day he was working. So two days later I came in and he was just as helpful as before. It seems like he genuinely like his job and like helping people. Most sales people will be nice to you before the sale but once you buy what ever it is that you where their to by they try to rush you out. But he gave me his information and insisted that if I have any question, not to hesitate to call him. and Ive keep him to his word!

My experience in staples was great went into the store just to get some paper And pens long story short I happen to meet Steven Johnson who was extremely help We got on the subject of phone and since mine was on the brink anyway we started to consider switching. Steven is a great guy,nice, patient, and he seemed to care more about finding what phone would fit my lifestyle the best instead of just getting me the newest device, which is so common of sales people in other stores. He appears to be very techy and extremely knowledgeable at his job which is something I appreciate. Steven spent a lot of time with me educating on the technical side of thing. I told him I would be back and without my knowing the next week my phone was dead and wont hold a charge. I decided to give the guy a try once again he took the time and patience to explain everything to me as well as show me the features. I brought the HTC one, and im very pleased with his customer service and not only will I come back to him but, I will refer friends and co-worker to him and the Staples store in Largo. I was really sorry to have had to bother the young woman who was standing at the place where a cashier normally stands. I hope that her supervisor will educate her soon on the importance of friendliness and courtesy. Based on her attitude, we evidently inconvenienced her terribly by wanting to purchase items from the store. Apparently her actual job was to flirt with the manager who stood there as well. Retail personnel should be well versed in customer sevice, including eye contact, tone and overall attitude. I am sad for the hardships that this young person will face in life if she continues along this sour path. I will definitely look for another location for further purposes.

I went to the staples on campus way south in largo to get some help with new electronics. I was looking for a way to stay mobile and connected because I am now retired and trying to go back to school for my doctorate degree. I was helped by a very knowledgeable young man. Steven C. Johnson II. He was the mobile sales consultant and he went out of his way to make sure I have a great experience. He Not only helped me during the sale but through it and after. Now even weeks after I met with him I still come back with questions about my new phone and he, always helps me. He is the main reason I come to this store and staples is very very lucky to have him!

Came to Staples to send a UPS and ended up getting a new phone. Why? Because the Mobile Consultant, Steven Johnson, is friggin awesome! Seriously, he has set the bar high for customer service. He not only explained the process, he also helped this not so tech savvy woman, get everything she needed to get her phone up and running. He is personable, friendly and willing to answer even the simplest question with a smile. Hes a keeper. :) In fact, everyone I encountered at the store gave exemplary service. From the cashier to Frank to Cameron was helpful and pleasant and a joy! Will be back, for sure.

Placed my online order for two items which would be delivered at different times -- no problem there since I live nearby. Was notified of 1st arrival within week and picked it up. Received no notification about the last item by end of the second week so went to the store, Showed a staff person my ID, described what I was looking for and explained I had not received a notification email. She quickly retrieved my package from storage and I was out of the store in under 20-25 minutes. 5 stars based on the great in-store service I received.

HORRIBLE! WORST BUSINESS MODEL EVER! I placed my order over a month ago on Black Friday. They never called me and told me my order was on back order. I called today and they said they are cancelling my order. They couldnt do anything for me. Amazon service is amazing but Staples is the worst. They refuse to honor the order even though they processed it and had charge pending in my credit card.

I found that Steven is easy to work with and patient. I was not fond of the upgraded phone (SmartPhone) because it did not seem to work as well as my old "flip phone". Although I still subscribe to that belief, Steven helped me on several occasions to become familiar with the "quirks" of the new phone. He is a great person to work with and is very knowledgeable about the various phones.
