Stopped in to grab a couple of things on a long trip home: chicken tenders and a fruit salad. Tenders had to be cooked, but I was assured it wouldnt take more than 8 minutes. But 15 min. later the cook told me he was just getting up the fryer and didnt know how long it would be. When I suggested nicely that I would have liked to know that 10 min. earlier he turned away and walked off. So, trying to put that behind me, I walked to the self check-out to buy two items (a bowl of fruit and a bag of grapes). After checking through the two, a notice came up that I needed assistance, which I didnt. The manager was too busy talking football trivia and literally looking anywhere other than at the customers standing in front of him. Honestly, Id rather be hungry than shop at this store again.

Clean. Easy to access from 301. Friendly,helpful associates. Most expensive grocery store in LaPlata, but significant savings are possible if one shops the sales. As with all of the LaPlata grocery stores, vendor-merchandised product is well-shopped by mid-day Sunday so if any of those items happen to be on sale, they will be out of stock. As the area continues to grow, Nabisco,Kelloggs, Coke, Pepsi, DPI, UNFI, Mission, Edys, Pepperidge Farm, etc. will see the light and increase their weekend service in the area stores.

The store is listed as 24 hours and after driving 25-30 minutes I get there to the doors locked and no hours posted outside...I sees group of employees sitting around and mouth through the window "are you all open" and the older gentleman shoes us away like flies ...how hard is it to update the site or google entry...super inconvenient

Pharmacy has the best staff of any Safeway I have been to. They go the extrs mile to help their clients , to be sure they can get and afford their medication. Always efficient and courteous. A rare quality in some places these days

This location is the best of about 6 grocery stores within reasonable distance from my house. Produce is usually decent and selection is good. They aware doing some renovations currently, but otherwise its a decent store

Whatever I need is always stocked on the shelves. I have yet to find it not stocked. Staff always helpful and friendly and everything has always been fresh
