This review is for the book sales of the store. I have no opinion of the video sales/rentals. The staff Ive met are fine -- no complaints. The signage is overwhelming - actually gets in the way of seeing the books. There are books all along the isles. I saw a person in a wheelchair completely unable to get around the store. Apparently the owner(s) doesnt believe the ADA applies. There are many piles (feet high) of the same book - some have been there for years. I bought one two years ago, and there are scores of the same, still -- the exact same price sticker (now faded). The prices can be pretty cheap, but this is not the best place for collectors. The inventory is incredibly picked over (although you can luck out sometimes). I have also seen several books with mold -- a great way to contaminate your collection. They have no inventory system in the store. They have a POS system and most of the books are new -- so they all have optical codes already. Go figure. You have to physically search and hope you find what youre looking for. I cant believe this place is still around. They must make money from the web sales. The online store often has the same books in the physical store for as little as a penny -- again, no in-store inventory. I assume the stores are around as a way to get collectable books from individuals. The prices you get from your books are all over the place; they dont have trained staff there all the time, so it seems. Overall, the place is mess -- poorly run. Check it out if youre in the neighborhood, but dont bother going out of your way for this place -- especially for the serious collector.

Wow, so many books...honestly did not know where to look...felt like a kid in a candy store!!! Prices are great on the books..i however did not give it a 5 star only because the rental price of 3.99 on new releases. You get to keep them for a few days but If you dont care about that then it is expensive. Wish they offered a cheaper overnight rate like redbox

Awesome old school video store. A rare breed these days. Huge selection (e.g. they have almost every single Steven Seagal film ever made- should give you an idea of the depth of the selection!) and good prices. Reasonable late fee structure plus they can order items they do not have in stock. I hope they stay around forever.

I can see the appeal here. I mean, where else can you rent movies anymore. That said, the place is pretty disorganized and clustered. The games they sold were not of a good selection. The books also had that musty smell that filled the store. Maybe I just went on a bad day.

I like to buy books here. Yes they are disorganized and cluttered be prepared to spend half an hour to an hour looking for the books you want. I have found a lot of great old books that I cannot get anywhere else. And you cannot beat the price.

They have a vast collection of used books in logical categories that are well defined throughout the store. I found a rare out of print book for a great price here. I would have paid $80+ more if I had bought it online.
