My initial impression upon entering the store was that its huge!! This place has just about everything if your into music, gaming, and books. Excellent selection. I wanted to trade in some xbox 360 games, so the guy behind the counter takes my games and says he would call me in a bit. 25 minutes goes by and keep in mind I was the only person in line trading at this time. Im not sure what took so long but I could have gone to Gamestop up the sidewalk and would have been done trading in less than 10 minutes. Also, I would have gotten more in terms of trade value. Being that 2nd & Charles competition is a stones throw away you would think that their trade values would be inline or better than Gamestop, but they were much less. Basically I waited around for almost 30 minutes for them to offer me almost nothing for what I had. Out of curiousity I went to see what their asking price was for the same games that I attempted to trade in and to no surprise most were priced close to triple what they offered me in trade value. I think its safe to assume thats what they do for all their trade ins regardless of the product. They give you "nothing for something". Ill be in to buy certain things , but I will never again attempt a trade in.

This is my nerd place. Me and my family all love shopping here. They have all the Fandom you could want or need. They are constantly getting new stuff in. They buy and sell. And starting March 17, 2016 they will be having a reading time. The staff is super friendly and extra helpful. They really go that extra mile for you. Very large selection of comic books, movies, books galore, widest variety of fandom, video games, rpgs and more. Definitely worth going even if only to window shop. I bet youll get hooked.

Always enjoy a trip to this store. The staff is so helpful and friendly. The store offers something for everyone as well. Such a wide variety of products. The buying process is so quick and easy as well. Very honest and fair with their prices. If you are in need of books movies or music visit them first. You might be able to save some money and have some fun at the same time.

My first impression is wow, expensive. I can always find something in their electronics/video game section that i want buuuuutttt i cant necessarily justify spending that much on used items. I cannot deny, its a cool place to visit. They have crazy amount of things to look at. But Ive only shelled out for a couple things.

Of their locations, the selection is lacking, and it rarely feels welcoming. Trading merchandise is a crap shoot and some of their used prices are barely better than new at Best Buy. The one plus is getting lucky finding something worth way more than their price and flipping it.

I love coming to 2nd and Charles to look at the cds and every time I come, I always find a good selection. I always find good metal cds even when I have to look deeper on the racks. This place is definitely worth my money and time!!

The food and donuts are great! The service is terrible! The absolute worst. Your order will be wrong so check it prior to leaving and get ready to argue about it. Its absolutely ridiculous and enough for me to stop making the trip.

Used second hand store with a great selection and set up, however their prices are high for what they offer and sometimes even match up with a price of a NEW item on amazon when in fact the one theyre selling is greatly used.

They have a great selection of everything, friendly staff. Trade in values are not always the best, but thats the brilliance of having a choice of where you trade in. Game stop right around the corner and BB down the street.

A great place to buy used books for a great price. The staff has always been friendly and the store is organized into sections. One big downfall is that they do not have older theology books.

Awesome selection. Large store. Reminiscent of Hastings or FYE but even better! Always stop by and atleast walk and browse to see new additions when in the area. Very cool store.

Great place for books! Prices are fair, resale of old game systems available. Staff could be a little more friendly, but pretty much the only new bookstore in Hagerstown.
