Excellent Service. The department Manager Jason and Sales Rep Steve McDonald were knowledgeable and attentive employees. First off, Steve pulled me back in the door a day after because he let me know of certain items I would desire after listening to my needs. Once I go there the second day, I had a lot of questions. Probably kept him busy and the manager for over 3 hours depending on the questions that arose. In the end, they were answered on the newer products. It must be noted, that I had come to the store several times before in previous months, always receiving knowledge which led to the following: purchase of the new pro series Craftsman mower; kits and attachments; and warranty that covered appropriate items (e.g. on a clearance log splitter and mower). Personally, I have been to many different stores and received very little knowledge or support. In addition, I like to build a relationship with the reps of the business, since I buy from who I trust and get the best service. These employees were great at this store, for this type of product. I love the Home Depot or Lowes, but if you are going for a garden tractor, Sears in "Frederick" MD is the place to go...not all Sears are like this, lol. I recently bought a fridge from there as well from JoAnne I believe her name was (had a small hiccup after delivery on the fridge, taken care of well by manager of that department too). Another good store rep. Nowadays, it is nice to have good service. Last, it is important to note that it is important to be able to communicate with a buyer, Steve and Jason both had stories that could relate to my situation; making it increasingly comfortable to make a large purchase.

I went to the Sears in Frederick yesterday because I saw where they were having a Memorial Day sale for military for this weekend. I read online that lawn mowers were 5% off and military gets double discount (which makes it 10% off). When I go to check out, the woman tried giving me the discount but was unsuccessful. She then told me that there was no deal on the lawn mower. I asked if she could contact a manager to take it off because thats the reason why we went to Sears. She called the manager and then told me that there was no deal on the lawn mowers. They did nothing to keep my business and could not take off $12 on a $250 mower. I called customer service and she told me I should have gotten 10% off. So she called the store manager and the manager argued with me saying I could not get the 10% off. I told her I could go to Home Depot or Lowes and get an everyday 10% discount. So I went to Lowes and ended up getting a more expensive mower. Sears has lost my future business over $12.

There needs to be a 0 star option. First time I took my car there they said it needed new tie rod ends and that they couldnt do the alignment because of it. Took it to 2 other shops for opinions and the tie rod ends were fine. Got the alignment done elsewhere. Second time I took it there they did the alignment (still had same tie rod ends) and mounted new tires. 1 week later the coil spring slipped off of the strut slicing open my brand new tire. I never had an issue before I took my car there. Now Im left with a massive headache and money lost.

I bought a Craftsman torque wrench and 6 sockets (3 deep and 3 regular) here. I knew I only needed 3 sockets, but wasnt sure if needed deep or regular. I needed a 250 ft/lbs wrench, but when I got home I saw the wrench was 250 inch/lbs. 2 months later when my wife had time to return the items, Sears would not take them, telling us that they had a strict 30 return policy.... would not budge... did not care. IT SAYS NOTHING ABOUT 30 DAYS ON THE RECEIPT. WHAT???? TERRIBLE POLICY. Will buy all my tools from Advanced Auto in future.

Terrible I will never buy anything from this store ever again. I purchased appliances from them 2weeks ago paid for installation, the installation company scheduled to install the appliances on the 13 of march and they never showed up I called them to find out why they didnt come&I the manager name Leila was very rude and unprofessional told me that there is not reason they just change like that and she hand up the phone on me. This is how sears treat their customers. I am really disappointed

Used to be decent now its just a mess. They have signs for items at great prices. THen when you find an employee and ask for them they are out of stock. My experience has been you have a 50% chance of advertised items being available. Unless youre saving a significant amount save yourself the wasted time. Its a shame that Sears Senior management is just letting this business die slowly.

Had wonderful service from this lovely girl Steff, I needed to find curtains and she helped me out, great attitude. When I was buying tools, the associate, Sebastian was super knowledgeable. I finally checked out with a girl named Sam she was super friendly and quick.

I remember the early 2000s when people still went to this Sears. Now its mostly dead. The only good thing is the Auto Center and Craftsman tools. The rest of the store is far behind other department stores like Macys or JCPenny.
