Been going here for over 20 years with great experiences. I can assure you if you need a helmet, ask for Mike as he is the best of the best. For years, we have always gone to different dealerships and test fit and bought based on what we were told and felt. None of them had any clue on the proper fitment of helmets. About 2 years ago we went in to buy new helmets and Mike started asking questions. Based on head shapes and our answers he got us in helmets. However, my wife liked a small as it felt good and tight. Mike insisted that she was an extra small and basically talked her into it. he explained that it would take time and she may not like it, but to let it adjust. He gave her a worst case repair if needed but to avoid it. About 2 months in, she still wasnt sure as she was having a little discomfort. Then one day, it completely went away and she mentioned over and over how great it felt. Last June, we were riding (she has her own M109) and were cut off. She ended up going down around 60mph. To this day, everyone form the paramedics to the doctors are amazed that she had no head trauma, especially after looking at the pictures. We are absolutely convinced that it was due to her being correctly placed in her Arai helmet with the proper size, not allowing the helmet to turn or shift during impact. I will only go to Jts for future gear purchases.

Great sales department, great showroom, friendly staff. All good....until you have to deal with the service department. Unfriendly, short and not willing to take the time to communicate and explain what the are going to do. Not what I expect for $105/hour for labour alone.... Update: My bike was dropped of on Tuesday and I was supposed to get a call that it was ready for pick up on Friday. I didnt hear from them so I called on Saturday. They had not started on my yet. Suddenly they gotten very busy (with work that had to happen before my bike?), but it would be ready Wednesday, so I would get a call then. Not having heard from them, I called Thursday. They got even more busy but now it was scheduled to be taken care of Saturday. And so on. That Wednesday there after my bike was finally done. 2 months later exactly the same happened to a friend of mine and his bike. Its an understatement to say that their service departments customer interface is a joke. Understandably we will bring our bikes and purchase anything we need from here on elsewhere.

I was pleased with the service dept for service work on my 2001 VN1500 but the parts dept was not very customer oriented. I bought an oil filter and rear pads. Both were VERY substandard. Pads squealed like crazy despite being properly bedded in, and to my surprise the oil filter LEAKED! Ive never had an oil filter leak :-( And rather than politely offering to make it right, the parts parson/manager-over the phone just made lame excuses implying that the fault was on me (did you clean the matting surfaces, lubricate the o-ring-like DUH!) or road" grit got onto the brakes. Still squealing after 120 miles so how is it road grit making that happen? The new generic Kaw oil filter is simply substandard (chinsey o-ring compared to a robust flat circular gasket). Compare it to a Fram and youll immediately see the difference. I tried to explain this to the associate and all he had to offer was "weve sold hundreds of these this year with out a problem" $54 bux for a substandard filter and pads? Lameo! Lost my business.

1st Class all the way! I called an hour before close on a Saturday to see if they had the 4 wheeler I wanted in stock. I got there 45 minutes later, the paperwork was done, the 4 wheeler was prepped, cleaned, ready for delivery and the out the door price was exactly what I was told over the phone. We took the 4 wheeler back two weeks later for a factory plow and it works great! They gave me a great price on the plow (less than the internet price) and the labor to install it. I went to JT Motorsports for the first time to get tires replaced on an older bike and by the time we finished lunch at the local crab place they had my motorcycle done and again the price was exactly what they told me over the phone. All around great experiences dealing with JT Motorsports. Its a pleasure dealing with good honest people and looking forward to many more purchases! We appreciate all your hard work and thank you!

I wouldnt buy a glass off water from these people if I were dying of thirst. They tried charging me $190 for an oil change after I was quoted $70 before I brought my bike in. After complaining they dropped it to $160, so I told them that I wasnt paying that. So the owner Jim came to me and and dropped it to $98. Still not the $70 I was told but somewhat better. When I turned on my bike I found out that they had put about 100 miles on it. After telling the owner Jim this he told me I was crazy and to get out of the store . I did buy this bike there which went ok, but ordered some parts after and wasnt notified until I called 2 weeks later. I do not recommend buying anything from these people and the fat guy with the beard behind the sales counter is a mess as well. Good luck if you decide to go here.

I was extremely happy with the knowledge of the staff as well as the customer service. I moved to northern VA a few years ago and have been looking for a good KTM dealer for the last few years. I tried a few shops in the area and was less than impressed. I recently brought my road bike in for service at JT and the entire transaction went very well. Fair price, good customer service (even as a first time customer scheduling the service over the phone and asking questions about what I wanted done) and competent mechanics. I plan to bring my dirt bike to them in few weeks for service as well. The shop also sponsors and participates in local riding events and the people that work there are riders. I highly recommend them if youre looking for a good dealership that will treat you right.

I live in the suburbs of DC and usually take my bike into Heyser Cycles in Laurel, MD because of its proximity to my house. I had a custom rear shock made for my bike which arrived via FedEx on a Saturday morning. I called Heyser and a bunch of motorcycle shops in the area, who said that they couldnt take me on a Saturday. Heyser stated for example that they only do oil changes and tire stuff on Saturdays. They also quoted me $154 bucks to put the shock/spring in. When I called JT Motorsports, they immediately said that they could take care of me if I came in within a certain time frame. I arrived there late and they still took care of me. It only took 45 minutes and I only paid $88 bucks. I recommend this shop and it was worth the additional drive.
