Had the part when I needed it so gave it 3 stars otherwise it would have been a 2. Called about air filter and and the guy (no name or name tag) said they had a lot for the different models for my brand of car. I took a chance, drove across town and it worked out. Place was hard to find...just past and behind BOSTON MARKET in the back. Walking down the isle there were tire irons hanging out on a shelf about 5 high and about to fall...luckily my 3 yr old daughter wasnt tall enough to bump in or touch...very dangerous. The store was very small but seemed to be stocked with the regular convenience items one would need and I assume they had a large parts bay in back due to the size of the building. It took the gent a long time to find the part in the computer and he wasnt 100% sure it was the correct item but since I had pulled the old filter I visually knew what size. It was $30 bucks which is more than the carbon cabin filter and 25-50% more expensive than Auto Barn (depending on shipping). The guy was pleasant but not particularly sharp on customer service skills (extroverted, eager to help, display competent attitude even when placed in ambiguous situation) but he DID appear honest. Although I think it was too expensive to pay that much for cheap Chinese made product I understand we pay for convenience of immediate gratification. Other local auto parts stores surprisingly do not stock Mini parts so I really had no alternatives on a Sunday. Also, Auto Barn suggested the wrong filter and instead of returning (pay for shipping & 15% restock fee) I will just give to a friend who can use it. I have to give it to the guy, he did say the retail price was $50 when I remarked how expensive it was. Maybe the dealer or if you bought K&N (which are over priced too) but, I guess that is the nature of inelastic supply items. GM had a good idea on common parts! Too bad others dont or the situation is thats the only way they can make money. I wonder if others views are a result of NAPAs poor computer parts listing system or the actual smarts of the employees. Recommend researching via NAPA online parts service first before calling or going to the store. Overall, as my expectations are very high, Id buy stuff there again but it wouldnt be my first choice if I have an alternative.

after 1.5hrs of buying some spray can to later discover wasnt the right thing i tried to return it and as i walk into the store the manager asked me why are You back here.. long story short they dont have any refund policy he refused to accept the return and after i ask for where in the store o receipt said i cannot return unused spray paint and sandpaper he said he will do the return to later try to without telling me charge me a 15%-20% restocking fee again i asked where was that policy and he didnt care so they kept the products and my money now the case is on the BBB and also proccess through my bank transaction protection. this store Suck. too bad i have a been a napa customer for over 10 years to bad i stop at this location this wouldnt ever happen in the napa in cockeysville.

I had heard bad things about this place. Turns out theyre true. Despite the fact that this is a NAPA corporate store, they refused to return a belt I purchased at another store. The guy behind the counter said he didnt care that the store was a NAPA corporate store. He only cared about honoring parts sold at that store. He said my only option was to bring the part back to the original store (500 miles away). I called around to several other NAPA locations and everyone I spoke with was surprised that the return was refused. As soon as I brought the part to another NAPA, the locally-owned store in Laurel, they returned it without a hitch. I dont think this is a NAPA problem, just that the guy running the show in Ellicott City is incompetent.

Be smart and dont go to napa. The fat guy with white hair in the front is the laziest worker ever. Waited over 15 mins for part that was already pulled and ready becasue we call in and ordered earlier. He took 15 min for 1 customer and refused to help me after he left until nice lady came out from the back and helped me. Wasting peoples time. Incompetent dummys every where. He should be fired. Calling corporate to file in a complaint. Save your time and just go to advanced auto or something atleast theyll help you within a min of you arriving

I ordered a 10 ft long X 4 inch thick exhaust pipe. It took approximately took 4 days but, instead the guy ordered flex-pipe by accident. So, ordering the right exhaust pipe cost more $. I dont think so.

Got me my part very quickly (less than two hours, no deposit necessary). It was the right belt. They close at 6pm FYI.
