This grocery just recently was purchased by ShopRite and is under their brand. As Kleins, a small town grocery, it was an excellent store for the community. With its new ownership, things dramatically changed. While there is a wider variety in some areas, the fresh meat and seafood selections have gone down. They claim to have 96% lean ground beef, but all you typically find in stock is 80-85%. Theres very few 92-93% lean produced and it sells quickly. The variety of fresh seafood has gone down, and its hard to find some of my familys favorite items now. The little things add up. Theres always a shortage of baskets. The store now requires club cards, and some cashiers are not aware of how to have customers enter in their phone number in case the card is forgotten. The bakery changed many of their recipes and I greatly miss the cheese bread that Kleins made. The store has a long standing issue of poor and dangerous parking along its entryway. This was exacerbated by the addition of a second RedBox terminal, on the busiest side of the store. Twice Ive been hit by passing cars, albeit very slowly, trying to leave the store. The continuous row of unattended cars in the "No Parking" zone blocks passing traffic from seeing people leave the stores only exit. But I fear every time I leave with my children that this time theyll be hit. A good store for things in a jiffy, but some times its easier just to drive farther to the Super Walmart.

Woman employee with short blonde hair & glasses is a rude employee! So rude & unprofessional! Shouldnt be allowed to work there! Not a cashier! I will find out her name and report her! Walks around the store and rearranges items, so rude! She should work somewhere where she isnt in the public bec obviously she cant be around people! ESP kids! My kids were in the isle and she stood there with the meanest look on her face! Instead of smiling and walking around like a normal person, she states at them with the meanest look and crossed her arms and waited for them to move! I had to move my kids and she walked by saying "shouldnt be standing there" as she walked away she is muttering more rude comments! Then comes back in the isle and makes more rude comments and picks up a nail polish they dropped and says "now I have to rearrange all this bec of these kids" and gives them another rude stare! I will find out her name and I will go above to report her to management! She is obviously mad at the world and takes it out on everyone!

I choose this location over the one closest to my house. The produce is always good, clean store and great employees. My only "complaint" is a lot of times i go there on my lunch break for a few items (nice only shopping for 1person) and most of the time they dont have enough registers open. Since they are close to an industrial park a lot of people get lunch at the salad or hot food bar (great fried chicken!) if they are busy i have almost been late to work. They never open extra registers for a short period of time. Other than that Riversive ShopRite is the best.

This has been my familys go-to grocery store for the past 3 to 4 years. While Shoprite is known for having some high prices, they often have many items on sale weekly and have been doubling manufacturer coupons for the past couple years up to $1.00. If you plan ahead and shop smart you can really save some money here! The staff is generally helpful and quick and their bakery is usually on point. While I dont do all of my shopping here, it is definitely a place I visit at least once a month.

Only reason we shop here is for double coupons. This deli is the worst you will find in harford county. I have no clue how the manager is a manager. Every kid that works behind the counter is slow and is more interested in talking to coworkers or just dragging their feet. I shop here once a week and the deli will take 10+ minutes for 1-2 people. Registers constantly backed up 2-3 customers waiting. Have a smaller selection from shop rite in the festival. Go there if you can.

Shoprites bakery and desserts used to be fantastic. They had the best blueberry pudding cake ever. The last several times I bought it, it has been terrible. There arent any blueberries in the cake and they switched to just putting blueberry syrup on top. I used to have to buy 2 cakes for desert for my 4 teen sons. Now they dont even eat half of one. Their bakery is average to poor at best. Overall, the rest of the store is just average.

Really great selection! Great prices, clean and easy to find everything. Well staffed, never have to wait long in the check out and since I love coupons, I love getting all the coupons with my receipt, and using their digital coupons online. Plus you can get a FREE Turkey or Ham just for shopping around Thanksgiving and Christmas!!!!!!

This isnt my location I visit when going to ShopRite but its a nice location. I did notice they didnt carry some items that the Festival-Belair location carry but overall it was a pleasant visit. I loved the fresh seafood section in ShopRite, just awesome. Friendly cashier and employees.

Security lets anyone and everyone park in front of the store. People fly through the parking lot. Its still limited on their selection of items in the store. The meat department is a joke. The bakery food always looks like its been on display for two weeks. It never looks fresh.

Love the new look and added food items especially the organically grown foods. Now if they would only decide where food items will be stationed permanently instead of changing things around and confusing the customers that would be helpful

I enjoy shopping at Shoprite in Riverside especially in early morning. The store is a family and friendly place to shop. The prices are reasonable and affordable sales that it my favorite place to shop for groceries.

Cashiers are quite slow. I live outside the area and not near a store. I wanted to use a store discount card for the savings but they dont have one not would they let me easily sign up for one.

This is my favorite Shop rite to shop at all the employees are so nice and helpful and my Grandmother that just turned 90 loves their fresh baked Danish her favorite are the cream cheese.
