Hi i am personal shopper. On December 21 2016. I was shopping in the value vallage on 2277 University bivd in marland. I try to use the mirror a customer started yelling at me. I told her its the holiday lets be happy and please stop shouting at me. She threaten me. I walk away. I saw rthe male rican manger and told him. Please get another mirror and some crazy crackhead just yell at me. He said use another mirror. i walk away. 5 minutes laterthe manager came to me and said i have to talk to u please come with me. I folliow him. We went to the front door. He call the ploice on me. He told them i shop every day and he dont want me back. I ask why. He said its personal. Right then the lady who was screaming at me started saying we just had a understanding and we apologized to each other she said why did he call the police. He told the police to band me from the store. They said lets go mam. I said can i purchase to exchange or my items he said no . The police was very rude and they really made me fell like a criminal. I reeel discrimination against. I am go to get me a lawyer . .

I get a lot of great merchandise here. I get stuff here that I ordinarily wouldnt be able to buy, however, the prices these days is sometimes about the same or just a couple dollars less than you might pay in a store. Not always, for the most part the prices are good. If something has a new price tag the price it is usually higher whether its Ralph Lauren or K-Mart brand. The selection turns over quickly unless its really miserable looking which is rare. The quality on average is good, you dont see destroyed and unsaleable things here. It is very well organized, the staff are very busy and are constanttly sorting and putting clothes back in the right sections. It can and does for me usually turns into several hours at a time. But its worth it.There are at least 2 opportunities each week to save 25% as well.

Used to be a bare bones bargain-hunters paradise. Theyve added dressing rooms, customer restrooms, organized the merchandise. The staff used to be mostly Somali who didnt speak English, now there are all types of brown-hued people, and they speak English too. They screen out a lot of the low end junky stuff (i.e., theres a lot less to choose from - forget about finding a decent replacement strap for your purse) as well as separated the higher-end stuff. I used to find Coach bags and wallets for under $15 every other time I visited, now theyve gotten much more savvy about brands. Now theres nothing below $5. Still ok, but not worth a trip out of the way anymore.

This place. Parked in the parking lot first thing I spot. The bins full of rubbish that have been unloaded from donation trucks. From that I figured the prices would be extremely good since they have clothes trashed out in the receiving area. Wrong nothing under $5. I did see a kids wallet for 2.99....whether this is the stuff u see ppl buying up in Goodwill outlets or actual donations... This stuff is pre worn clothes. 90% of everything is cheaper new. Im walking out as I type this. Peace

Went to this thrift store to find some sneakers for my sneaker collection. I went to the check out and couldnt find my wallet. I had it earlier so I retraced my steps at least 20 times. I came to the conclusion hat the wallet had been stolen. I had a lot of money in it. Next they accused me of STEALING! I was scared and felt threatened. HORRIBLE SERVICE !!!!!!! they should all feel ashamed.

There was a fair amount of clothing, shoes, accessories, home goods and furniture. What was disappointing was the customer service! Employees kept running into me and didnt seem to think they needed to say, "Excuse me." No one smiles and no, "Thank you for shopping." I love the Value Village in Baltimore, Laurel and Prince Georges but will not be going back to this one.

AWESOME STORE!!! The prices are ridiculously amazing, the selection is always fresh (in style, brand names), and the store is easy to navigate. The organization of the clothing cannot be beat, as they are by type and size. They also have lots of CDs and DVDs for sale. A tip for the ladies: Theres no dressing room, so I always wear leggings and a tank top to try on stuff.

Everything is good with me except the prices...i would think by it being a thrift store the prices would be much cheaper buti guess not..most prices in value village, i could go buy me the same brand new for cheaper what value village would sell it for.. Thats very good. Please bring down some of your pricing!!

This store is Crap,and that is being nice.People donate things and these people charge more for the things than when it was bought new.Like today I was looking at Blue Jean shorts.They wanted $19.00 dollars.I went to Walmart,and bought better brand,New shorts for $9.00.Some one has lost their mind.

August 2016 I donated 3 big boxes in 3consecutive weeks and I only got 5% card discount each!!!! It was this African man in the donations who gave me that. You need to train your people on how to appraise a donation so you will be fair to everybody. Ill never donate in your store again!!!

I was going to donate hundreds of items, but upon my visit I found the other donated used items to be way overpriced. Shame on them. Id rather donate my used items to a shelter instead of these stores, where the items are sold at new item types of prices.

This store is extremely overpriced and unclean. $100 shoes are normal here, and the shoes that arent overpriced usually smell or have holes in them. I would rather donate my stuff of give my business to a much more deserving thrift store.
