As a less than wealthy gamer, I find its hard to discover a store I like. Game Box moved to Topsham, so now I had no excuse not to visit. I was impressed. They have a great variety of gear, old and new. They rent games, they sell comics, they do repairs, including smart phones. Though that is all great, the best part is this. There is no pressure. I can go in, mosey around for a few minutes, and not have to get hassled. If I see a game I want, I buy it. If not, no biggie. Next week there will be a whole new set to choose from. Great product turnaround. Nobody ever pressures me to buy anything. Nobody practically begs me to pre-order. Nobody beats me over the head again and again with add-ons. Of course, its also great that they are independent... no corporate BS. They run a great shop, and I really think more businesses should model themselves after Game Box. Go Game Box!

The staff at Gamebox is nothing short of exceptional, they have always have great deals on games and consoles and have an excellent stock of used games and consoles I cant think of any other stores where you can still buy Super Nintendo games! I cant say enough great things about this group of individuals. From a smartphone repair to a PS4 your covered!

Game Box Video Games & Comics in Topsham Maine hosted a Dungeon Crawl Classics Role Playing Game group I managed to organize. We played this past Sunday in the play room at the back of the store. The staff helped set up the tables and were friendly and helpful. We had a great time, and plan to game there again.

Generally overpriced and unfriendly. If youre desperate for a classic game you cant find at a more reasonable price anywhere else, its worth stopping in if you can stomach the atmosphere. I would prefer to support local shops than order online, but Ill make an exception for this place.

Retro games both original and fan made, fair trades, comics, you name it. This store is awesome. Huge collection of fan base games. Selling my Xbox360 and getting a good price for it. Tony is the owner, really nice guy. Theyre able to repair systems and devices too which is convenient.

I had a ps4 related issue. The team at Gamebox repair my console less then 24hrs with a fair price. They seem extremely knowledgeable and they know there gaming. The services and support was above what I was expecting. Thanks guys for everything!

This is the only store that I know of that sells old consoles and games! They dont have the best selection of new games but it is still awesomesauce! I bought a NES and the original Gameboy!
