Tbh, Im not a huge fan of Wal-Mart or what they stand for. I would prefer to spend my hard earned money at locally owned small businesses but unfortunately thats not always feasible. Wal-Marts prices on many things is def hard to beat, not to mention that its highly likely that you can find everything you need under one roof. Thats convenient, especially when youre pressed for time. Those things aside, Wal-Mart is a nightmare 95% of the time. Theyre employess are woefully underpaid so they have no real motivation to provide good customer service. If you can even find someone to help you theyre usually not much help, so youre pretty much on your own. A lot of times I spend more time in line then I do shopping. They have like 100 registers, yet only 2 of them are open because they dont wanna pay more cashiers. All in all, Wal-Mart is ok when it comes to prices and selection of items, everything else is pretty much horrible. My suggestion, if you can afford to, give your money to the small family business. Theyre struggling to survive with Wal-Mart in town and they will actually appreciate your business, whereas in Wal-Mart youre just a dollar sign.

It the spectrum of Wal-Marts this is probably my favorite one. I am bias, I am from here and come here frequently. However, Ive been to plenty of worse wal-mart stores. This has the full offerings in regards to in-store services (i.e. photo center, electronics dept, garden center, propane refills). It does lack a tire center, however I believe that is more due to location since you are in the middle of the mall shopping district. Customer service is probably some of the best in regards to Wal-Mart stores, with plenty of employees that have been here multiple years. Organic offerings are slim however present, but they do have a gluten free aisle. Overall organization and store cleanliness is always well maintained - the only reason this lacks a 5th star is due to the fact that I am aware Wal-Mart has some high-end store design variations and layouts in metro centers and on the west coast; this is not one of them, but alas you are also in Maine my friend.

This a a fairly large typical Walmart. They do have an adequate supply of mobility carts, though they tend to allow the customers to take them outside despite their policy of in-store-use-only. They have a large parking lot, but often the handicapped parking is full. The store is clean, the staff is helpful to a degree. I have had a few staff members go above and beyond in helping me. Its usually busy so the store can be crowded. Ive noticed that the staff is constantly stocking or working on something making it difficult to navigate without running into roadblocks in the aisles especially if your using a mobility cart.

This is the biggest and most diverse Wal-Mart in the area. It includes sections for housewares, lawn and garden, electronics, limited automotive (no tire service) and hardware, outdoor recreation and limited fitness, clothing, pharmacy, pets, stationary, grocery, deli, and fresh produce. The food selection is slightly below par compared to local grocery stores but the difference is minimal. While the variety is lacking compared to more highly populated area grocery stores it is absolutely functional as a grocery option for the local palate.

This Walmart is very full and staff will help you with whatever you may need. With almost any Walmart, they offer a great variety of deals and products and this one doesnt differ. The aisles are often nice and neat, which helps to get around and find products efficiently. The only reason I wouldnt give this location five stars is the staff. Although they help when needed, they never seem to be happy or even wanting to help out. (Obviously there are a select few that go against the majority)

Refused to return an item that had been shipped to my home but was wrong item. Gave me the run-around telling me it was not possible and it was something they couldnt do and I had to call Walmart customer service and ship it back for a refund. Called the Newport Walmart and they said they would absolutely do it and it was no problem and to bring it right in. They happily did the refund with no questions asked, will never return to Stillwater store. I dont like getting screwed around

Its a Walmart, a clean and organized one though. Constantly changing selection of items making it difficult to regularly purchase the same things. Shelves are often empty across the grocery side of the store, though if you ask they usually have the product out back and an annoyed employee will go get it for you, assuming they dont just say its out of stock without looking. You are much better off grocery shopping at the Brewer Walmart location.

This isnt the Walmart that I usually shop at, but when Im in Bangor I sometimes I do shop here. It has what you expect Walmart to have. Their shelves are usually well stocked and their prices are good. One bad thing about this Walmart is an unpleasant smell in one part of the store. I dont konw what it is. They should spray some Glade or Fabreeze air freshener. Otherwise, this is a good store.

Thanks Wal-Mart. I bought some sparkling cider today. The sign said it was $1.97. I was charged $2.88. Thanks so much for ripping me off. Im beyond furious. When I went yo customer service the line was so long it would have taken well over an hour. How dare you overcharge me. If you change a price make sure to change it on your cashiers computers too. Thanks for screwing me.

I dont know why everyone is saying they cant find anything...if you shop in the store more than once you can find what you want where it is. As for cashiers...there are like 30 freaking registers and only three open...I would love to see more open when they are busy...over all I would hive two out of three...it is better than the Lincoln one thats for sure!

I was trying to figure out if I could speed up the process of in store pick-up. Three phone calls later someone finally picked up, Wanda was very helpful and directed my call to the photo-lab. The women who answered the call there was rude and not helpful what so ever. I will never order something this way again.

Disorganized, limited selection, its a giant store with very few real options to speak of. Also, its one of those places that, no matter what the weather or season, its always too humid in the store giving the air that sense feeling that youre being coated by some sort of strange film, gross.

Not enough staffing during peak hours. Had a key made twice, both times it was cut incorrectly and I waited in line for several minutes at customer service to get my $2 back. Neither time did anyone apologize for the mistake. Other than that, its a typical Walmart with typical Walmart things.

Im not thrilled that they have fewer cashiers and want me to use the self check out. I ended up waiting in line quite a while. If Im in a hurry and have just a couple of things, self check out is fine, but I dont think we should be forced to make this choice or wait far longer.

This store has a wide selection, food dept. Only lacking areas are few cashiers, out of like 50 registers only 5 open usually, self checkout is faster. The other thing is they are lacking when it comes to automotive, selection is limited and no tire center.
