Bought a bottle of flux and a little application syringe... Took it back the next day and he charged me a restocking fee! Really? So it sat at my house and not your store for a night! Not only that, but he sold me the wrong flux to begin with. Asked for a RMA flux and he gave me RA flux which is much more aggressive. And to top it off, the receipt did say a 20% restocking fee could be applied, but the last time I checked $12.99 + $2.00 = $14.99 and 20% of that would be $2.99, not the $1.40 he dinged me. Small business should rely on good customer service. From now on I will order the stuff I need off the internet for much less $$. Hope it was worth the $1.40, Im never going back.

Norvac is a great place to go when I need missing parts to build something. They may not have EVERYTHING I need but I sure buy whatever I can there. I have gone in many times not knowing exactly what I need, They try Their best to help, but if I dont know exactly what I need, I dont expect them to. Sometimes it works out, sometimes it does not. When it does not work out I have no one to blame but myself. If you are going to come in to the store and complain, stay home. If you know exactly what you need, use your reading skills and make sure its what you have in your hand before you leave.

I had a problem with trying to get an old computer to work with a new monitor It took an extra visit to get just the right hardware but in the end the problem was solved. These are excellent folks to work with: Knowledgeable, fair, and very helpful. If for example you are into old computers, this store is a gold mine for things like hard to find cables, etc. Every experience Ive had at this store has been excellent.

One of the best odds-and-ends electronics stores in the area. If you need an obscure part, you wont find it at Best Buy, or even Frys, odds are Norvac will have it. You can get general things like Cat6 cables and ethernet switches here as well, but theyve also got a great selection of obscure pins, connectors, relays, etc.

I have been buying my electronic parts locally at Norvac in Salem for years and they should be everybodys first source for electronic stuff. When I have a project, I generally dont want to wait for something to get shipped and it is great to know that they have so many speciality parts for all things electronic.
