Jameco is one of those vendors with whom I have continued a long and productive relationship over many years. The trend has always been upward although about five years ago they reached a consistent high level from which it would be difficult to imagine additional improvement. Over these past five years, 100% of the items on my orders have been delivered on time, in good condition, at fair prices and as described in their catalog or on their Web site. As an experimenter, inventor and product developer, most of the time Jameco has the parts I need so I check with them first. Perhaps 10% of the time, I need an item they do not carry so I go to my second-tier vendors. While one might suggest that an expansion of their product line would be a good thing, I prefer their excellence in managing what they do choose to stock. In my experience, Jameco has been a great company with which to do business and I see no reason to believe that will change.

Great company. I order from them probably once a month for all sorts of stuff: electronic components, wires, small tools, etc. One of the few companies where I tend to use both their print catalog and website simultaneously (kudos to their catalog department for producing such a well laid out catalog... handy for those of us who work in a shop and still prefer to write notes about upcoming purchases with a pen in the margins :)) They always fulfill the order quickly, and I appreciate being sent an invoice in PDF. The only minor nit I have is that I wish the product images on their website would be bigger (seems like they have the size locked at 150x150 pixels or something, and you cant zoom in). Im definitely a Jameco fan.

Im a hobbyist who really likes to browse, so Jameco is a great option. The site has clear categories and filtering options and the prices are often very good. I had a very large order that took a few days for them to ship, but in general the turnaround is extremely quick. In fact, Ive gotten packages a few days early several times, which almost never happens with online retailers. They have an excellent customer service program and actually seem to really care about the people they do business with. Jameco is just one of the online stores that I use for parts and tools, but I almost always check it when looking for something specific and often just to find something fun or interesting.

As an Engineering student, it is great to be able to get parts online with reasonable prices. The products also arrive at a decent time and are well packaged and protected. Although I cant always find what I am looking for, I always go to Jameco first. The website is easy to navigate, though it would be great if they had a better search engine. Sometimes I will have trouble finding a component that I dont know the name of, but have a description of what it does. The search engine has troubles searching for such items, and I result to manually finding it through the link buttons.

Order was hold while I was on Travel. They Required a lot of documents to release my order. I Sent like 5 Mails including My Bank Account to prove it was my CC, And Still they did not Released my Order. The Customer sevice rep called "Sela Paini" was kind of rude. 3 Stars because after they solved all that mess They shipped the order with quality products. ***** Update ***** Just Updated my Review to 4 Stars because I Was contacted By the Manager to apologize For The Mistake. She was great and Clearly there was a Mistake on Handling My Case. Hope to Keep Doing Business!!!

Jameco has been around for a long time, maybe even before the personal/homebrew computer revolution started. While primarily a mail order parts house, it has also served the local Silicon Valley hobby and Maker community with excellent over the counter service. There is stuff here that you cant get easily anywhere else, and they make have prompt fast, courteous service. Need your stuff fast? Within an hour after placing an online order the parts are ready, and there is no hassle if you order the wrong thing. Ive used them for years and will continue to do so.

I purchased electronic components from JameCo over 35 years ago, and recently started working with digital electronics as a hobby again. The parts they have available are first class, and cover a wide variety of items. Their catalog is available in print, but better yet, online! Their online ordering system is also very user friendly. I find their prices very reasonable, and shipping is very fast. Ill be a customer once again for a long time. Great Job JameCo.

My focus is on electronic parts for the hobbiest. Jameco has an excellent selection and the price is good. I have on rare occation had to move on to a supplier with ga-zillions of parts, but that is an exercise in frustration. Jameco is there for you, the support is great, and the delivery is fast. The catalog printed in color is very useful, they provide a paper copy, but their online website is very efficient. I have nothing but praise for this company.

Jameco is obviously one of the, if not the, leading electronics dealer in the Bay Area. There have been times when I have placed orders in their store and the parts were ready within 2 minutes of the order. Everyone who works there is extremely kind, the engineers have helped me answer questions about parts that I was debating on, and they even are starting to memorize my name. If you havent ordered from Jameco before, I strongly encourage it.

Put short: 1) They have an awesome selection 2) Their websites UI is good 3) They do will-call; orders placed online are available in just under two hours during normal business hours. 4) Most of their desk staff is attentive; all are friendly. 5) They allow you to place an order at the desk, rather than force you to go online. 6) They have all sorts of goodies neatly laid out near the customer service desk, just waiting to be adopted.

Jameco has unique products that I cant find at other larger suppliers, their shipping is fast, and prices are reasonable. They can use USPS for shipping which for small light orders saves a lot over UPS and Fedex. Customer service is excellent, and their web interface allows me to save items I order regularly which saves me time. I have had to return one shipment and Jameco refunded my money promptly with no headaches.

I am addicted to repairing old test equipment therefore I look for parts at reasonable costs. Jameco has been much better lately on pricing and shipping parts at reasonable prices. For a while they were bad at estimating shipping costs and their shipping costs were all over the place. Now I am much more comfortable with ordering from them and expecting shipping costs to be as expected.

This is the perfect hobbyist electronics distributor. Their postage costs are minimal and typically after placing an order I receive it the very next day (yes, I live in CA but still thats amazing). A real person immediately answers the phone if you have any problems and there are no restocking fees. This is absolutely the first place I would ever go to find any electronic part(s).

I have been buying from Jameco Electronics for as long as I can remember. They have great products at very reasonable pricing. One time I had a damaged item and they were very quick to send out a replacement right away without hesitation. And buying on line is super easy. I could buy electronic parts from a lot of other on-line companies but Jameco is great.
