I recently needed some 7400 and 4000 series ICs for a school project and they had all the required chips, even the older TTL series. Not only that, but after looking at the circuit design they helped me pick out chips that were better suited to the task, reducing complexity and lowering the price (the staff I worked with clearly knew their stuff, which is a nice change from retailers such as Radioshack). Unfortunately, they are more expensive than online retailers such as Jameco. However if you need parts right away I definitely recommend Elliott electronics, and the service is great.

As one of the few electronic supply stores in the area this location is very important for those tinkering with electronics. It caters to enthusiasts as well as professionals with a very wide selection of all types of electronics. Just as a clarification, while this store does sell computer equipment it is much more designed for those looking at doing things with base components such as cabling and various electronic tools. A good place to check for things electronic because they will most likely have something that will work for you.

Online retailers are probably cheaper, but sometimes I dont know what I need or what to call it in my online search. The staff at Elliot is very knowledgeable and have helped me solve my problems many times. Sometimes I need to hold the part in my hands to understand how it will work in my application and thats something the online stores cant match. Elliot has a lot of stuff that I cant find anywhere else in town. Try it, youll like it.

When it comes to parts, if they dont carry it (which is rare) they wont hesitate to recommend a local supplier or research and order it for you if at all possible. An awesome bunch of people <3

The guys at work here most are very knowledgeable some are just salesman but I always get the answers I need and the equipment when I need it in a pinch definitely recommended that place to get electronic supplies

Helpful staff, but they do not accept returns on many items, including power supplies. BE CAUTIOUS and ask which products that stand behind and those that are sold AS IS! Good luck...
