What happened to "100% Made in the US"? I only give this store 2 stars based on the damage it did to surrounding mom & pop businesses. The only reason Wal-Mart gets five stars is because of the employees that work at this specific store. Never met a rude cashier or unhelpful associate. More than once, associates have gone above and beyond to make sure I got what I was looking for. I cant say enough good things about the people that work there. Of course, it is the county and they represent most of the general population.

The guys working in electronics, particularly the phone section, very knowledgeable, the young lady there today ahhh maybe it wasnt her area. Gave me info on a phone plan which was 180 ° wrong as if she wrote the book on it....then gave me a look like I made an egregious error after I purchased the plan. Verified this through the vendor and implemented the plan just as above described young lady assured me I could not. The folks in jewelry and customer service departments very helpful and mindful. Good common sense.

Its your typical walmart. They have almost everything you could need. The only issue is there employees. Bought a pink camera for a present. Opened the box and it was purple. Tried to return it and they accused me of stealing it and trying to return in with the wrong box. Dont agree with self-check out either. They can totally afford to pay people to run a register plus using self check out there is always and issue with buying phone cards, movies and pretty much anything like that.

Walmart in Presque Isle used to be the "Go To" place for us when we cross border shop. It is closer to go to Presque Isle than Grand Falls, New Brunswick. However, they have increased their prices so much that it is no longer feasible for us to shop there as often. The store is well stocked, staff are very pleasant and appreciate Canadians business. But the corporation itself is not as appreciative.

Marked improvement in customer service from floor employees. Still inconvenient trying to shop when shelves & aisles are constantly blocked by stockers. This isnt a 24 hour location. Couldnt stocking that makes it impossible to shop be done after the store closes?

I was nearby for a wedding. Nobody knew how they were going to play the wedding music, and somebody had lost the CD, so I ran around here trying to find something 10 minutes before it started. Didnt manage to get anything, but they found a workaround.

Got a smart remark from a produce worker when I stated out loud that Walmart must have run out of bags. I was in deli are looking to put loose rolls in a bag to purchase. I guess customers must learn to keep their mouth shut.
