One of the WORST stores for customer service I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. You can try calling them for a simple sales question on the phone but youll never get an answer because nobody there picks up the frinking phone. Sales staff in the store are clueless as to the products. Had one imbecile telling me the outdoor speaker I was holding in my hand was NOT Bluetooth compatible. I showed the dimwit the largest print on the box and it said "BLUETOOTH TECHNOLOGY" right there. Forget the Geeksquad. Their incompetence goes far beyond even the Obama administration. Bring your computer there and they tell you it will be at least a week before they can get to it. If they say that, figure on at least a month before they even start work on it. Then another month to figure out a simple problem. But the most annoying thing is sitting there on the phone waiting for these incompetent, lazy employees to answer. And after 30 minutes, I drive 40 minutes to the store, with my phone in hand still on hold with them, I walk into the store and its not even busy. The employees are doing nothing. Absolutely NOTHING.

I just purchased a 60" plasma samsung tv, they would not deliver to phillips maine without a charge of almost 200$ ... so.... I borrowed a friend and a pick up truck...... we picked up the tv... no problem, and purchased a HDMI cable.... for blue ray...... upon hooking the tv up at the home... we discovered that the HDMI cable would not fit the samsung..... no returns on those.... went to wall mart... bought another slim line HDMI cable... it fit the top HDMI port, but not the one for the Blue ray player..... called best buy... they would not send a repair person without a substantial fee, nor would they order a replacement tv to be ready for a replacement...until I arrived with the one already purchased.... I have decided to return the item and purchase at a more reputable dealer.... this is the worst experience as well as the most expensive experience I have had with Best Buy... I have always regarded them as a reputable franchise... but no longer..... saddened, and very disappointed.... with service..

My husband and I shop at this location and our last major purchase was a sound bar with a wireless subwoofer. On that particular trip we were not approached by any employees to see if we needed help, and we did. We had questions about each system and even when we went to look for an employee, they were nowhere in sight. Today, 8.4.16, my husband and I again found ourselves in Best Buy. Today I was planning on purchasing an Xbox One with the Turtle Beach Elite 800X headset to go with it. Again, we were there looking for someone to ask for help. One man came over and helped a kid find a mouse for Im assuming a laptop. I was standing there, waiting my turn, and he just turned and left. I had decided to leave my intended purchase, and any future purchase considerations. Thanks for the superior customer service, Best Buy. You missed out on, what I think was, one heck of a sale. Must be nice to never want to do your job... And STILL have a job. If I tried that, Id be fired in a day.

Dropped a laptop off to geeksquad and they call to tell me its ready for pickup! I drive there to pick it up and then they give me a hard time telling me that I need to have an appointment in order to pick up my own laptop that took them forever to fix. If they called me and told me its ready for pick up why couldnt I pick it up then and there. Now, I have to go out of my way and travel again to go and pick it up. Its not there has to be used its mine. What a joke this store is! I dont care if my laptop is u see warranty or not, I will take it somewhere else and have it worked on, because of the rude customer service I was given at this store!

I bought two laptops from this store 2 years ago this Christmas and they are both falling apart. I told them about this within a year of purchase and they told me that for a refund I would have to contact the State of Maine Consumer Protections Office. Ive spent thousands of dollars at Best Buy and havent bought a thing from them since. The laptops were hps used only by my wife and I and I wont be buying a product from that company again either. Im sure Im not the only person who had this experience. I will never buy an item from this store or any Best Buy for that matter again!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I work in a very customer service oriented business, where my customer service is rated. I was appalled buy the customer service I receive regarding my computer and the geek squad. If Im bringing my computer back Im obviously already upset its not working, but to be unwavering in their "new policy" in only taking appointments for geek squad, was very upsetting. Its a 15 min consultation where they will tell me they have to send the computer to the manufacturer. Ive spent a lot of money at Best Buy over the years, but Im going to have to decide if I can do business with them in the future.

Excellent experience here! I called to find out if a Nintendo Switch was in-stock. The call was handled by a call center outside of Augusta, and they told me there were none. So I went to get computer upgrade components. When i was checking out I complained about the lack of the gaming console. The cashier instantly corrected that, by pointing out that the console was in stock. I walked out with both the upgrade and the console. Fabulous!!

The staff is super in the store and always help ready but my recent in-house appointment a fiasco. No one showed, called to confirm but had the gall to claim that they called me early in the morning to reschedule. I received no calls. I called them because no one showed. Bitterly disappointed . I payed till the end of 2017 for geek squad services and dont even mind to pay an additional 49.99. for in-house service.

Initially this place looks great. A clean big store with some decent deals. However, he statewide implied warranty and purchases warranties here mean nothing. You will just get a runaround and hidden fees. The goal is to tire you out and make you go away. This is a national problem and class action suits are starting. Save yourself some hassle and just go to Amazon if you expect no customer service later.

I have been shopping here for what feels like forever. They always have great deals with NO hidden fees... everything is clearly labeled. I never feel bullied into buying extra protection for my electronics. Excellent customer service, they know their customers by name (their regulars, at least) and go the extra mile to help you save money.

Store never has latest models, staff is not knowledgeable about latest tech and products, delivery windows take forever, and checkout and customer service is worse than any other Best Buy that I have ever shopped in. What is the point of having a cashier area if everybody has to wait in the Customer Service area for lengthy checkout times?
