Ive been shopping Goodwill for years but recently stopped. Goodwill stores are only as good as the management. The Gonzales store is about making money not goodwill. They price things according to brand. That low income families cannot afford to pay $20 or more for a pair of quality shoes or clothing doesnt matter. As of this writing they no longer allow returns of electronic items if they dont work even for exchange. Too many times they havent been checked thoroughly and do not work as they should regardless if they start when plugged in. Gonzales, LA Goodwill needs a major housecleaning.

Called to check and see if they had a microwave so I would not waste a trip. The lady on the phone said she did not know and she did not think so. Did not offer to go look or ask anyone else. Not very good service in my opinion.

I dont like when paying, I am asked to round off my total. I already contribute my stuff to store and I buy from them things that are donated to them. Especially when they charge high prices for names brands.

I I love Goodwill stores. Everytime I go there is a treasure that someone else has let go. I love the work Goodwill does and I like what they stand for. One of two places I donate to.
