Went in to get the peals taken off my roadie, guys started hitting their wrench w/ a hammer. The wrench flew across the room, Allen keys flew across the room, then the owner said, "I should have charged you for my broken tools." I felt bad so I bought some new pedals from them. I went down the street and had another bicycle shop remove my pedals properly so when I went back to return the pedals I bought, the owner sat there w/ a disgruntled look on his face and said, "I oughta charge you for breaking my tools." Well heres a newsflash, if you knew what you were doing you wouldnt have broken your tools. Im not going back.

Pedal Play is a fantastic bike shop. Everything from basic bikes for new riders to high end racing bikes for the riding enthusiast are all listed at fair prices at Mr. Scott Mackeys privately owned shop. Even if what you want/need is not in the store, he will gladly order the part and apply it to your bike. Scott is a subject matter expert and will only supply the highest quality parts for your ride. I highly recommended this shop for anyone just getting into the biking scene or anyone who is experienced and is looking for a friendly experience and quality parts from a highly skilled professional in this field. 5/5.

Im on a cross country bike tour and stopped by pedal play because I was having some shoulder issues. Scott made some fitting adjustments and since then my shoulder has felt fine. The bike shop is one of the best Ive seen and is well stocked with good quality bikes and gear. The staff was friendly and helpful and its obvious that Scott knows what hes talking about. I definitley recommend Pedal Play for all of your biking needs!

Brought a bike in for a simple tuning, pedal replacement and minor adjustments to get it ready to be sold. Was told it would be ready in a couple weeks. After 4 weeks of hearing nothing we called and were told they hadnt even gotten to it yet. Over the course of the next 3 months we were never contacted as the the status. Picked up today, almost 4 months after dropping it off, and the only thing done was the pedal replacement.

Super fast and helpful responses via email, as well as turnaround on bike repairs. They took the time to not only explain to me how to improve bike and brake system break-in process, but also tips for future care. Reasonably priced neighborhood shop that is convenient and has later hours during the week, which is convenient for after work pickups. Say hello to Kona when you go (shes behind the counter and very friendly)!

Pedal Play is great! I went by there today with a bicycle needing a new tube. Great service; Fellow came out to the car; took the wheel off the bike while it was on the rack; went in changed it; aired it up; put it back on. In and out very quickly. Well-informed technical help onsite. No run-around, no bs. Walked in with a bum crank-arm. Fixed with heliocoil kit and tap within 15 mins. as opposed to most of the crap local shops run by incompetent kids. highly recommended. only charged me 20 bucks.

Knowledgeable and friendly with an awesome selection of bikes. I was intrigued by the kick-shift fat tire cruiser they had on-hand. I only needed one simple part this time, but Ill certainly keep them in mind if I need anything again when Im in their area.
