I patroned Bay City Cycles for the 4 years I was there for college and continued to return regularly for several years after that. The store carries a pretty wide range of levels of bikes in each style available these days. Mountan, Road, trick/park, the retro balloon tires, and more. I got my first NON-walmart special mountain bike here, and Ive never gone back. The staff is very helpful, they all ride something, so they know their stuff. They have a maintenance shop in the back, or they sell all of the tools youll need to maintain your bike on your own, including books and manuals for maintenance. The area is full of places to ride, and the guys were always ready with some advice on where to ride, no matter your skill level. And, the had maps available for all of the CAMBA and other real trail systems near by.

Bay City Cycles is awesome. Theyve been able to answer all of my (many completely silly) questions about bikes and cool places in the area to ride them, and Ive been able to get (or order) everything bike-related Ive needed over the last few months (which has included everything from parts to tools to a killer new used bike for my lady). When they dont have something in stock, theyve been more than helpful in getting the part I need. Also rentals! They let me rent a fat bike every week for like two months before I was finally able to pull the trigger on my own, and they made the purchase and ordering process super easy. Theyre everything you could want from a friendly, neighborhood LBS!

They advertise Trek road bikes.....zero in stock.......you have to order it site unseen and no returns. If all you sell is mt bikes, advertise only mt bikes......sucks!
