The second cigar shop I went to in Baton Rouge. First time visiting; I walked in, nobody talked to me. Asked to look at pipe tobacco, and the guy working almost seemed like he didnt want to show me anything. He seemed lethargic to show me anything different than what he first showed me. But, I ended up buying a pipe, and I do like it. Second Time in; I walk in, nobody says anything to me. Walked into the humidor, and was impressed with the selection. They did have quite a large selection, but it was expensive. I walked out, and the college age girl was talking to some older men in the lounge area. I was in plain sight. Standing there, at the check out counter, nobody was assisting me. After standing there holding my cigars up, signaling to her "I need to check out", she finally started to make her way over. Then the other man working interrupted her walking to the counter, and she started cleaning the ashtrays out, he then had a brief conversation with a customer in the lounge. I had waited about 30 finger taps on the counter too long, before I put the cigars back and left. Needless to say, I will not be coming back.

Don Juan Cigar Company sets the bar. I have been smoking cigars for about 2yrs now and have not found a place I love more than DJ. The staff is VERY knowledgable, and always friendly. Their prices are great, and you can not beat the $10 tasting events they offer.And I know this sounds weird but the place is not "smoky". The have a great vent system. Great place to buy and enjoy a good premium cigar in a great atmospher.

These people (especially the young lady) have lost the years of business I have given them and the thousands of dollars I have spent there over a cheap, defective lighter? It lit ONE cigar and they could not make it work again. When I asked them to just replace it with anything I was told "if they did that for me they would have to do it for every one else" Unbelievable

I have visited many cigar shops in and out of the country, I just love the atmosphere in this place the air quality was great. But then as a smoker who worries about that,, right... My point is, I like to smell the robust of a great cigar especially mine and here I did enjoy that. You must stop on ans see.....

Absolutely great place to go if youre looking for a wide selection of reasonably priced cigars. Great and friendly staff and a large lounge area to watch the game in. One of the better shops Ive been in. Highly recommend them to anyone local or passing though.
