New Update: Since Portland closed down...one of the managers that came over...is Terribly rude, she about ran me over 3 times, excuse me...excuse me...instead of walking around me, she about ran me over.....miserable experience. Been going there for years...Find some good items, at good prices, sometimes...but mostly shoes are 14.95..19.99..even 29.95 ?? Consignment shopps are cheaper, and they look it over for damage, before selling things. Some nice people work there, but alot of Rude Mexican Girls, about run you over...and they dont speak English, and I have heard Foul languare from staff alot, from the back...yelling at the workers. It is a gamble buying anything there...most of the time it is flawed, or does not work, but I do find some nice clothes, when looking hard enough, and am willing to pay the price for them.

I was very disappointed the Portland store closed. I was always confident I could go there, find nice things and get a good price. I was just in the Preston Hwy store and WOW, their prices have skyrocketed. $90 for a jacket? $30 for a pair of shoes? $20 for a dress shirt? Seriously? The store is very neat, very clean and very well organized. Clothes are broken up by dept and then by size. Now the bad. Looks like an all Hispanic work force who seem to only understand English when it is convenient and the prices are WAY TOO HIGH! Shop here on Thursdays and get 25% off which helps and holidays are 50% off which is more realistic.

Caution!!!!!! Live roach found in a hand bag and reported bed bugs are in the store. Rude illegal immigrant employees, high prices. Misleading so called charity. They pay a very small flat price for a truck load of used merchandise to cedar lake lodge. They then turn around and mark items sky high FOR PROFIT. The current owner flies around on private jet. You can do better at the malls on sale days. New store manager from the Portland store is as rude and nasty as they come. THe merchandise is dirty, missing buttons, old and it smells like smoke.

I like the store, but its one of those overpriced thrift stores that seem to become more of a collection of used items than a store selling them. Their stuff is too expensive! They regularly want $15 for a pair of used jeans. Im aware that there are sale days to offset this exorbitant price, but for those of us that rarely get to shop there, it does not good if we dont shop on those sale days. Staff seems to be mostly mexican. They dont understand our questions and can offer no help. They dont post when sales are.

I mainly go to thrift stores for electronics - stereo stuff, A/V components, and various electronic doo-dads. The selection varies widely, but there is always a respectable amount of equipment here. I have found several nice things here which Im still using. Sometimes the pricing seems a bit absurd though - I think they price partly based on weight, as the heavy stuff tends to cost more than the light stuff. Prices are generally okay though, and weekly 25% off sales on everything in the store are quite nice.

Bastante mala calidad en los artículos y a veces con precios excesivos para la calidad que tienen. No se molestan ni en poner presentables los artículos, además huele muy mal la tienda.

When looking for a thrifters dream store look no further!!! They have EVERYTHING from shoes to furniture. Prices are great and the sales are like no other. Would recomend to anyone looking to purchase on a budget. You can find many treasures hidden away in this place. Make sure you have comfy shoes on and give yourself plenty of time because you wont want to leave.

Im sitting in the parking lot as I inform you that the workers can be rude. The staff starts announcing the store is closing at 7 pm, store hours til 7:30 pm. Workers walk through the store rushing people out. Their goal is to have the store cleaned and workers out by 7:30pm. They should change the hours if they are going to harass patrons. Not a happy shopper.

I love the place. The workers have always been great to me, and I can get a suit there for $20 most of the time. I routinely get pants and such for $5 a pair. Shirts for $4 or so. Pots and pans for dirt cheap too. Books and DVDs not so often... those are pretty picked through.

This is great for prices if you are in the mood to look. Yes some items priced brand new, but if you take the time you can find named brand great quality for cheaper than Goodwill. I have personally found items for $1.97 jeans, 2.65 shoes, ect. Love this place when I have the time.

Great bargains for gently used clothing. They have casual wear to mens suits, as well as lady casuals to that "little black dress". They majority of the staff is very friendly and helpful. They also have Spanish speaking employees for those who need any translation.

This place is really well organized and doesnt smell like other thrift stores they have really reasonable prices. We found a ferby in great condition and only for 4$! We had no problems and dont know why so many ppl put bad reviews.

Many bad reviews. However, theyre mostly true. Rude workers and higher prices than average thrift shops. $15 for jeans? Cmon! But if you take the time to look, you can find good deals. They also have %off sales on certain days, too.

They have worked hard to clean this place up a lot. I would give it 5 stars but every time Im in there the checkers have no idea what theyre doing and I wait to check out for much longer than should be. Its really irritating.

You can find good deals on a lot of stuff sometimes. But half the time stuff is way over priced. Prices on some of the used stuff here is more or same as if you got it new at walmrt meijer or dollar General market.

Savers does not exist here. People are too ignorant to realize they are reviewing a completely different thrift store as a Savers. Unique thrift is across the parking lot from where Savers should be.

Decent for nick-nack items...but you have to look closely. Very bad for clothes: ridiculous prices for worn clothing. Maybe worthwhile on their 50% off days. - The store is kept fairly clean.

The best thrift store EVER. Organized, items are easy to find. They currently seem to be a little short staffed so Im hoping to see that changes. Its improved over the years

Maybe the best thrift store in town. I got some pretty great deals on nice clothes for a guy. Definitely worth checking out. Its the Buffalo Exchange of Louisville.

Great bargains and even better clothes! Its the wait in line that deters me at times. Youll see seven associates five registers and only two cashiers.
