Im being way too generous by clicking one star. Steel City Pops has bad consumer service. I wont spend another dime there. I took my child to have a cold treat a couple of weeks ago. And we were ignored by the staff for about 8 mins. At first, I wanted to see how long we would have to stand there before anybody was going to ask if they could help us. But no, afterward about 7 young middle school aged girls walked in behind us. The 5 employees that was behind the counter in deep conversation clearly ignoring me and my chocolate child, jumped hurdles over each other to take their orders. (Needless to say these girls were the opposite of the chocolate complexion of my child and I). And once Ive used my outside voice, we got some attention. Im pretty sure we live in 2017 and this type of behavior is unacceptable. I was so upset when I got home that I called the store manager to report the incident. The young lady on the other end, said that she was unaware of the incident. She also said that she was going to send out a written apology and mail it to me. Its not shocking that the written APOLOGY NEVER CAME!!!!

This little popsicle shop makes strolling down Bardstown a real hazard...because you will magically find yourself stepping inside whether you meant to or not. Never have popsicles been better! Whether its the range of flavors, the topping options, or the tip-top customer service, this place has it all. I have yet to take them up on their offer to return a flavor I didnt enjoy (but remember, they do offer that option). Have fun with the topping options that are offered. Dip, Dust, Dredge, & Drizzle to your little hearts desire!

10 of us visited tonight . we bought the 12 pack for $33 (no tax oddly enough) 11 of us were tickled . But even though I paid, I couldnt get anything because they dont offer a "no sugar added" product . Would it make the earth tilt off kilter to make one sweetened with fruit or whatever. Comfy Cow doesnt either btw. So I go to their web site to offer my feed back . No contact button. Next time I will suggest Orange leaf or Cee Cees on Bardstown and take my other 9 with me . (if they will go . They liked The pops pretty well. )

Such a wonderful idea and very lovely addition to any crowded city! The flavors change with every season and sometimes even more often, which is a good and bad thing if you love the fall flavors more than anything and winter is here.... I also love that all prices already include tax, so you know what youre paying. You can also get those punch cards- very convenient. ALSO, dont worry if your mom is stuck at home, you can get a pop to go!! Overall just a great place to support. I only wish I could tip the energetic staff..

Strange, It is what it says it is. Just popsicles, well Id call the milk based ones ice cream bars. tomateo/tomoto. The concept feels kinda like what a previous reviewer said about hipsters/gentrification. While a little expensive, so is labor. Ice cream was good. Not mind blowing, but good. My root beer float bar was everything I expected and did not disappoint. So Id say 3 stars normally, but the staff were extremely friendly and helpful which gets another star. Id give it another go.

Okay yes, it is overpriced but youre getting a gourmet popsicle. I tried the last one on their menu and it was the best. This place was crowded the day and time i went. They have a nice selection and you can also create your own by adding spices and flavorings to your dessert. Staff was very professional and worked together very well. Seating is limited because of how crowded it can be. This is a great dessert to eat while exploring the highlands. I cant wait to come back.

The product and concept is great! The have cream and fruit flavors. Ive tried the chocolate, watermelon, coffee, and chai latte and every flavor was fantastic. The pricing is fair and the quality is high. The staff were friendly though it can sometimes be a free for all as it is counter service. I got a pop to go and they gave me a nice bag and a small freezer pack to keep it cold for the trip home.

For some reason, this Popsicle company thinks its OK for their Popsicles to melt in my hand. I visited this specific establishment after attending my art opening. At the time I was wearing a $5000 Gucci t-shirt. Because of their smelly melty Popsicles, my shirt was ruined. Other than that, my experience here was fantastic! I look foreword to my next visit. I highly recommend!

Love this place. Couldnt recommend it enough for a place to grab dessert or just to relax. Three dollars a popsicle is a bit pricey but well worth it. The flavors change throughout the year so theres now way you get bored coming here. If you dont like a particulat flavor, theyll let you swap it out for FREE. Which makes that 3 dollar price tag not so bad at all. Great place.

Steel City Pops is such a cute place. Their guava pop is really good. When I went with my friends they got watermelon and strawberry lemonade pops and they look and smell really good! It would be nice if there was more parking near by but I just park at the Walgreens and walk over. The people there are really nice. The pops are to die for!

The popsicles are GREAT not only do they only cost $3 but they also have a large selection and apparently new flavors every day, the calories are also displayed next to each pop ranging from about 80 calories to 275. They also have punch cards. Punch cards are cool, right?

A little pricey but almost worth it. 2 pops are $9. These are organic almost ice cream consistency popsicles. They are pet friendly! So you can enjoy a popsicle and buy your pet a little pup-scicle. (they dont offer these. You will have to buy one with your pet or share)

my friends always go here and they say its so good. and when you walk in its a tiny cute place and in the back you can see them making THEIR OWN popsicles which is great and they are very friendly. and when you check out they give you a free steel city pop sticker.

Cold pops for a hot summer day. Their selection of flavors is second to none, and they have nutritional information readily available should you need a vegan or low-calorie pop. Curious to see if they stay open for the winter, or how their menu changes.

Really delicious, gourmet popsicles. When we visited last, it was $3.50 a pop, and $4 something for their hot chocolate. The hot chocolate is really good: they put a chocolate popsicle in steamed milk. I recommend this place regardless of the weather!

It was a very good place for popsicles. It is hard to find parking espically around noon and on weekends. It is also hard to find seating for a large amount of people and inside. They have only a couple of barstools and some seating outside.

I love coming here and trying a different flavor everytime to change things up and I can say that my favorite is the strawberry lemonade. The staff is very friendly and even let me switch out one of the ones I tried if I didnt like it.
