3/20/11 the 2 ladies that worked that day should be let go.my family likes there treats but when we rushed that sunday arriving 3min. before closing sun., time.we hear a lady say ,not thinking we did."GET OUT OF HERE WE ARE CLOSED"that was not needed we would have left no problem,it wasnt 1pm yet and we wanted 4 donut or so.we are done. we, that being said true story.i would like to say the young ladies that worked before during the week were very polite .that was the rudest thing a establishment has ever said to me in my 41 years.

Nastiest, driest, oldest donuts Ive ever had in my life!!! My husband and I sometimes go for walks around 1 or 2 in the morning (3rd shifters) and now we see why the two times we have gotten donuts there they tasted VERY stale. They have their cabinets full of donuts at that hour which tells me they are making way too many and selling them rather than getting rid of them and making fresh. Do your self a favor and go to Sweet Stuff on spring street - fresh, polite, and much better price!! only about 7 blocks down.

So disappointed this morning. My BF and I have visited here about 3 times prior, and our purchases have been good. Usually go on Sunday mornings, and the cases are well stocked and pretty. Decided to go this morning, and the cases were like they always are. Got a couple glazed and chocolate rings, cream filled and regular longjohns, and a canolli. They were AWFUL. Without question, these were old donuts. Save yourself the time and wasted money and go to Nords, just over the bridge in Louisville.

I cannot believe how great this place is, what a hidden gem. I just moved to New Albany and am so glad i found this place. When you walk in you are warmly greeted by an older lady (the chief) and her husband. And based on the price (cheap) i was skeptical, but wow! The best donuts I have ever eaten, I could not shove them in my face fast enough. And that should mean something because I’m usually not a desert/sweets type of guy. Definitely Recommend!

This place has all of my favorites. Coffee, desserts, donuts and I keep finding new pasteries to love! I order the birthday donut for all my favorite people and they are ecstatic about the donut as big as your head. Honey Creme has made custom orders just to my liking. I cant wait to see what they come up with next. I loved their newest turtle brownie and the pineapple fiddle stix. One satisfied customer here

Love this place ... Ive been going there since I was a kid . I dont buy Donuts from anywhere else ..... if you want it they got it, THE ONLY ISSUE I HAVE HAD was when a donut was gooey on the inside. Im sure If i would have called them they wouldve done something (gave me more, or reimbursed me) but that has only happened ONE TIME & that is NOT going to stop me from going back !!!

I love this place. hot, fresh delicious donuts at an hour when everywhere else is still closed. I see some bad reviews that seem to be based on the user expecting big corporate butt-kissing, but this is a small, local owned shop, so sorry about your luck. they dont need your patronage anyhow.

Went here on a friends recommendation. Ask for fresh or warm. We ordered 2 turnovers (fantastic) still warm 3 fritters, old and soggy. 2 long johns, one custard, one maple bacon. We threw the custard long john out. Bacon was more like salad real bacon bits, than fresh bacon.

this place has been around for probably 50+ years. they know how to make great doughnuts, pastries, and cookies. way better than Dunkin and (though I hate to admit it) Krispy K. Those guys taste like they came out of a plastic package in comparison.

First time there and wont go back again. At 6:30am your suppose to have fresh donuts not 2 day old donuts. Trust me, Im a baker myself. Ask for an ID when paying for 3 donuts with my debit card? Wow!

Donuts at the time were good. Didnt sell milk by gallons and they were overpriced. Also they had a lot of extra donuts that made me wonder about the timing of getting them.

They still make an Apple fritter with a good chopped and seasoned Apple mixture. Not just a sprinkled honey bun.
