Drifter

The store is quite big and has a lot of variety of items. Ranging from frozen breads, all kinds of spices, rice, grains, lentils etc they have pretty much every thing you may find in an Indian store or a Mediterranean store. The only exception is fresh meat and vegetables. They do have frozen halal meat but it is frozen and personally after trying I may not buy meat from there. The spices were expired too so be sure to check that when buying. The store is fine if you need something and its an emergency and this is the only option left. But else if you drive a little further then Sahara Mediterranean would be a much better option.

Expired stuff on sale (sardines in tomato sauce) plus the normal free offerings on the 1+1 offers has been taken off (Ashoka ready to eat Indian curries) as witnessed by the artefacts of peeled off sticker from the original packet. Not a good place to spend your bucks!!!

This international supermarket, is now under new management, has the best specialty meats, the biggest selection of fresh spices in the city of Lexington. If you are looking for things that the big supermakets dont offer I highly recommend Parisa International Market.

This place has the best meat, the guys working in this store are so nice to everyone, they know how to take care of the customers and they know how to run their business, I am their permanent customer from Somerset, I always go there :)
