My fiance bought me a Toshiba Laptop with home and student 2016 MCSFT bndl, external DVD player, Wetboot security, and 3 yrs GS prtect and support plan on Oct 4, 2015 at Best Buy in Florence KY. Due to last minute purchase, store was about to close. We couldnt get them to install all the necessary program and software, so, we have to take it home to do it ourselves. However, we didnt get to install everything until 12/28/2015 due to holiday season and busy schedule. By that time, I found out I was missing the home and student 2016 MCSFT. I couldnt find it. I called and explained to Best Buy about missing product. They told me they can get another code number again to install this software. Then, I scheduled the appt to get them fix other issues along with the missing code for my MCSFT. First I went to Clorain, OH to take care the problem then they told me I have to go to Florence KY to get the code from them for my MCSFT install. it took me a while to get to Florence KY branch. When I went there and told manager what happened that I have not able to find my product on home and student 2016 MCSFT, the manager Caleb turn me down and told me they cant give me another code and said I have to buy another program again but they will give me discount on it. I didnt agree with him because I felt that we already paid the product and should receive item and not be punish again to pay for it. Later general manager Jush came and told me that it was my fault not to install it in15 days after purchase or let them know before 15 days, so he said it is too late and he cant do anything for me since I didnt install it earlier. I felt it wasnt fair since I have no idea where is the item and I wasnt asking for return, so it has nothing to do with return policy. However, both of them blamed me for this situation instead of helping me to resolve the issue. I felt they both should have take care customers concern on not having the product after the purchase. They could ratified the issue by providing credit for me for the store to buy another substitute software to make customer happy. Beside, my fiance spent total $1317.24 purchase for me on Oct 2015 and comes to Dec 2015 they turned their face against me and did not treated me like a customer. Anyway, I contacted Best Buy headquarter and got a great resolution from the posted purchased service dept. Best Buy is a good company but I am disappointed on the manager and general manager the way they treated their customers. Best Buy in headquarter apologizef to me and decided to give me the credit for that missing product and also sending me a $25 gift card because they understand what is customer service is all about. I hope this information is helpful to everyone. I will shop Best Buy but not in Florence KY because I dont feel welcome by the manager and general manger there. If I ever find the product somehow, I will call the headquarter and return the credit back. I believe in honesty and the way you want to be treated as a customer.

In-laws were in town and was due to leave on a flight out that evening. We went to this Best Buy because mother-in-law lost her phone during her flight to visit us and needed a replacement. The plan was to also add on 2 more phones and upgrade 2 others; a total of 5 new Samsung S8 phones were ordered. We went in around 2pm and was met by a salesperson who was patient and helpful. It was taking a very long time (it was 4:30pm by then) and we still needed to visit one more store before we headed towards the airport so they told us we can come back 30 minutes later and by then the phones would be "ready." We also had them put on screen protectors. We went back 30 minutes later and found ALL 5 phones (in its individual boxes) were placed in a bag and NONE OF THEM had any indication as to which belonged to whom. A simple post-it with phone numbers written on them would have sufficed. The individual who initially helped us was gone so another salesperson, this time a female, was the one who took over our transaction. She became rude the moment she realized that they had to take each individual box and open them up to figure out which phone belonged to whom. I guess they were going to leave that up to the customer to figure that out. No courtesy on their part and obviously lack common sense. If you cant handle transactions like these, dont sell phones!

Your store would have gotten a half a star but that wasnt an option! Bought a Nintendo Wii U console online and paid for it went to pick it up, they said sorry were sold out, no explanation why they just said thats been sold out for awhile, when asked why their location said they had three available, young Zac and his people skills said he didnt know!!!! Thats after I drove an hour and 20 minutes, then I have been on hold for someone in their customer service department for more than an hour, the one lady I couldnt even understand her english and right before she was going to transfer me she hung up on me, someone will answer me from Best Buy Corporate!!!! They continued to hang up on me after I was on hold, and this is Best Buy Corporate, do they think theyre the only game in town, Walmart is on every corner!!!! At 1:22 I placed my order to this Best Buy, after hearing nothing at 6:00 after getting off of work I head there to be told we dont have any of those units, what about my order confirmation, young Zac says, "That doesnt mean anything", WOW!!!!! Make sure everyone spreads the word Best Buys online purchasing is all LIES!!!!!!

I have high standards when it comes to my shopping experience. I work hard for my money and I am very careful before I choose to separate from it. I find that the service is great and the guarantee that comes behind every product they sell is fantastic. In the past year, I have purchased a 58" 1080p Panasonic Plasma, a 15" HP laptop, a home phone for my hard-of-hearing grandfather, a pet-hair eraser vacuum, TWO Droid phones (Im a Verizon customer), and Sony headphones to listen to tunes while I work out. I havent had a single issue with any of these products. The representatives are always attentive when I ask questions, and there is a general atmosphere of positivity. In the past I have shopped HH Gregg, Circuit City, Walmart, and Sears. While they are decent retailers who may have the occasional tent sale, I desire the training and professionalism offered by my hometown Best Buy. Besides, theyve ALWAYS matched prices Ive found at other stores. BTW, why call a store when you can check out their prices and product availability online?

I had an issue with an employee and was told to speak with Martin the GM. He was not in that day so I had to wait. Turned out I had another issue, this time a geek squad repair wasnt actually repaired. I spent an hour talking in circles with Sean the assistant manager and finally landed on a compromise. I then asked if Martin was in. I was told he was on a call but would be out in 20 mins. 45 mins later Sean went in and spent 5 mins telling my story. Martin came out and told me I interrupted his call and should not have waited for him. He does not have time to deal with customers. I tried to explain. He cut me off and said he would not hear the story again, he trusts his assistant manager and thats that. I was directed to 800 best buy. This was the most disrespectful experience I have ever had with a retailer. Best buy in Florence KY is consistently a horrible place to shop. My advice to everyone is avoid the headache and shop online. Also I suspect most if not all positive reviews are fake and done by employees.
