Me and my fiance were incredibly excited to start looking for engagement rings. Because of Jareds advertisements we thought it would be the perfect place to start our search. Unfortunately, Jared took what should have been one of the most exciting experiences of our lives and left us feeling taken advantage of. Our salesperson pretended to have our best interests at heart- he told us many times how "Jared is different, we care about our customers, provide quality products and want you to be happy." We clearly explained to our salesperson that Jared was our first stop and that we planned on visiting many jewelry stores to shop around. After looking at diamonds and settings we were asked by our salesperson, "While you look at some of our different payment options would you like me to see how much you two would be pre approved to use for financing?" My boyfriend and I didnt seem interested but our salesperson let us know, "Hey it only takes 3 minutes- and this way you will have a better idea of what kind of ring you can buy here." We agreed and signed a paper- that we were told was in order to "Give him permission to check our credit" Little did we know, until we went to another jewelry store and found a ring that we loved, that the salesperson at Jared had me sign a Jared Credit Card application. He opened a $3,500.00 credit card in my name without even once mentioning that he was going to, or had opened it. Because of this, I was unable to open a card at another location in order to finance the ring that I truly wanted. We were shocked and frustrated with the fact that someone could replace the words "do you want to open a Jared Credit Card" with "Do you want me to see how much financing you would be pre-approved for?" and not have any ramifications for misrepresentation. The salesperson was able to make a commission of off getting us to open a credit card- but right then and there, he lost any ability to make commission from selling me or any of my friends or family members anything from Jared. To reinforce the fact that Jared is a complete scam and rip off- we found the same carat weight, color, clarity and cut diamond at another location for less than HALF of the price! Trust me, dont get clouded by all of the bells and whistles- Jared is in to scam you- rip you off and not even think twice about it!

NEVER BUY FROM HERE!!! we came into the store to just LOOK. The store closed at 9pm and we came in at 8:30 and was not aloud to FINALLY leave until 10:30! We had looked at a few rings just to look and had told them several times we were just looking. Then the manager kept walking in and saying look at this diamond or this diamond. The whole process of looking for a ring is supposed to be enjoyable and the two men that we worked with were horrible! Not only that, once my boyfriend finally got them to understand we were NOT purchasing anything just looking they said. "Okay well if you come back and need to finance do you want to see what you can be approved up to?" My boyfriend said yeah thats fine just to see. A week later we received a credit card in the mail. He never authorized a credit card to be opened. He never signed any credit card paper work approving this. There is a huge difference between seeing what someone can be approved up to and opening a credit card account! Also, we have continued to be harassed with phone calls almost every day. We have blocked several numbers and they keep calling on cell phones. They will NEVER make a dime off of us, my family, or friends! Not to mention we found a much better ring for half the cost! Never EVER go here or give them any information. They will fraudulently open credit cards for you and harass you.

I originally went to the Jared up in Kenwood to buy a gold necklace, and had walked out all frazzled and quite frankly, anxious. Unfortunately the gift did not work out and I was so nervous to have to go back so I went to the Crestview Hills location. Patty helped us almost immediately upon entering the store and within 30 seconds of the conversation my mind was at ease and I felt comfortable. I loved that she was knowledgeable, professional yet down to earth, and she was very funny which goes miles in my book. I had read reviews about Jared and a lot of them not so good and after my first experience, was starting to think they might all be right and to never go back to any Jared. My interaction today with Patty erased my doubts and when I go back for any future gifts or jewelry, etc... I will most definitely ask for Patty. I felt like a valued customer today and not just a wallet with money to spend. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

I love all the people complaining about filling out a credit application, and then thinking they were somehow scammed. I used to work here, and really enjoyed it. So much so that I recently went back to buy my engagement ring. The service was great, the work they did was extremely high quality and my fiancee and I are extremely happy with her ring. The employees really do care about making sure youre happy, nobody wants you to leave unhappy or feeling mislead. At the end of the day however their job is to try to sell you a piece of jewelry, which 99% of people who say "Ill come back for it" never do. So naturally there is some pressure. However when youve signed up for a Jared account (including 12 months interest free) it makes it a lot easier to decide where to buy. I recommend shopping here, even if Im a little biased. I bought my own ring here, and like I said with insider knowledge I can tell you the employees really do care.

Never again....this place is really going down hill.....FAST!! Bought a neckless and it was broke in a week. Kmart has better quality. Then they want you to spend more on their "maintenance program" for a cost of 33%....now I understand why....their stuff is garbage. There are plenty of good quality jewelers around...this isnt one of them anymore. Just look at the outside of their building....not painted and the things are dirty and peeling. The people that work there are not professional as all they do is try to up-sell you with pressure. Just YUCK..

I have always had a great experience coming here! My engagement ring and wedding band were purchased here nearly 10 years ago and they have taken excellent care of me, and my beautiful rings, at my every 6 month inspection. I have lost a couple diamonds over the years and they replaced them without hesitation. I always leave with my rings looking brand new. My husband and I will continue to purchase from Jareds in the future.

Came in with my dad to look at some rings for my soon to be fiancé. It was a few days before thanksgiving and i was trying to propose on thanksgiving. The fantastic employees at this location made that possible for me. They got me setup with the perfect ring and it came in just in time. I am so happy with the ring and she said YES! Thank you, Jared.
