I rushed over to this liquor store to grab a bottle of wine. It was 10:55. There were 3 other cars there, all wanting to purchase alcohol. When I got to the door and it was locked, I pointed to the time on the door and said, "its not 11" and an employee said something I couldnt understand and motioned something. And I put my hand to my ear to indicate I couldnt hear him as he was across the store. He then proceeded to yell "its not 11 but the door is f***ing locked" or something along those lines. This is my go to liquor store, as its the closest to my house. However, I will NEVER go here again. I will also recommend to all my friends and family in the neighborhood to avoid this location. The blantent disrespect for regular customers is unacceptable. If youre not going to keep your store open to the hours written on the door, at least have an explanation better than "the door is f***ing locked." Worst customer service I have ever encountered.

This is one of several ABC locations in the Wichita area. Customer service is rare in this modern era, but ABC on E. Central is reminiscent of the glory ages of outstanding service. If you need to buy a nice cordial, decent bottle of wine or an elite liquor, the knowledgeable staff can help you define the nuances of taste for your selection. Great service needs to be recognized and rewarded. I reward ABC Discount Wine & Liquor with my loyal patronage.
