Beware if you have a peanut allergy!!! The "knock your socks off" chocolate chip cookie bars do not list peanuts or peanut butter on the ingredient label, so I purchased one and gave part of it to my son who is allergic only to peanuts. We sat down in the cafe to eat, and a couple of minutes after eating some of the cookie he said his tongue was tingling. I went back to verify with the associate behind the counter at the cafe that it did not contain peanut ingredients, and she responded, "Oh yeah, that has peanut butter in it." Excuse me?!? Why is that not on the label??? I rushed him to the closest hospital immediately and we have been here the past 3 hours while he is being treated for an allergic reaction. WHY ARE PEANUTS/PEANUT BUTTER NOT LISTED AS AN INGREDIENT OR ALLERGEN IN THIS PRODUCT???

Took my kids there after an early release from school and after visiting Dave and Busters which is in strange area. There are so many things to look at and very interactive. We rode the ferris wheel which was $1 per person. We walked around and saw all the different departments. In the kids area they can play a game of mini bowl for $1. Finally we stopped at Ginnas cafe. Kids got a large dish of ice cream with m&ms it Reeses it was $1! I had a Starbucks latte which was half price bc of happy hour 4-5pm. They have food, desserts, and a large cozy seating area. By the cafe is a free play place like you would see in a McDonalds. All the staff said hello and were very friendly. This is a nice, clean, fun place to bring the kids and enjoy a few hours.

Have shopped here many times with my 15 year old son who loves this store. Weve gotten football gear, workout clothes, college clothing, team gear, ball caps, shorts, shoes, a pellet gun...he always finds things he likes at Scheels. But they have hunting, fishing, ALL sports clothes and equipment, workout equipment, bbq area, camping, home decor, toys, etc etc. There is a dining area to get a bite to eat, a HUGE ferris wheel in the center of the store (buy cheap tokens at checkouts to ride), tons of stuffed animals on display, a large tropical fish aquarium, 2 lane bowling game for kids and many other games, and more. Friendly staff, clean bathrooms. Two floors of shopping in large clean store that has quite a selection. Love the sales.

I took my bow into the OP store to get new strings. The bow is a Hoyt Carbon Element and it took 32 days to get the strings delivered after I was told it would only be 14 days. The price close to tripled to what I was quoted when I paid but I still didn’t complain. It took 3.5 hrs of a very knowledgeable individual to re-tune my bow after it was serviced by your store. If your people are new they need to let people know that they are not qualified to work on bows. The cams were so far out of adjustment that this could have been a potentially dangerous situation. Please get them proper training before someone gets injured.

It was an awesome store. Loved the aquarium arch and happened to be there while a diver was inside cleaning it. Very cool. The kids loved the ferris wheel and the picture booths. I was a little confused though because I felt like I was at PetSmart with all the people and their dogs. Leashed or not....it isntt a pet store...or at least I didnt think it was when we looked it up online. While we were there I saw three different people walking around with their dogs and two were hyper pit bulls. What? Why? Sorry...not a big fan of dogs walking around a store with me and my family.

Nice store, but lacking management. My son fell out of the play place and split open his head. It obviously needed stitches. When my father in law found a manager to help assist us, the manager spent his entire time warning me that they were not liable, with no offer to help in medical assistance. After speaking to someone at the corporate office, I was told that there would be a follow up with the general manager of the store. Never happened. They did send me a $25 gift card from the ordeal. Not sure if I will use it, as I do not want to return to the store.

Me and my wife had such a wonderful experience in here. It was our first time and my wife needed to be fitted for a bra. Abbie B. was amazing. Very, very helpful! We are a lesbian couple and my wife has felt uncomfortable every where else we have been with getting fitted and anyone else seeing her in a bra. Abbie was very professional and stuck with for about an hour until a decision on a bra was made! Its wonderful to shop in a place and not be judged and experience wonderful customer service. Wish I could her 10 out of 5 stars!

I absolutely loved it the minute I entered the store. As you walk in you see a mini aquarium walk way filled with tropical fish. Then as you go passed it you see a giant ferris wheel that you may ride for only $1. The experience is amazing! There are also many items you may buy, from clothing to fitness, from sports items to a cafe, to even a cute little furniture store. Scheels also includes little booths all over the 2nd level with animals you can pose with and take a picture.

It is the hugest Scheels I have ever seen. When I was in Minnesota I loved to go to Scheels so often since this store usually have a variety of selections and even some free food samples! I moved to KC few years ago. I was kinda sad because I cant go to Scheels anymore. By the way, I got the news that a new Scheels was coming to KC last year (maybe?). Then finally I visited this location in Overland Park today. It was an amazing store as expected. It was so impressive!!

Great customer service, kyle in the watersports is awesome. I lost hardware for my bindings to a wakeboard i just purchased wens. dropped in the lake wens night by accident and they got me hooked up with stuff from another board on fri so i could still wakeboard this weekend, literally took bolts from another brand new board and let me have it because they didnt have parts for sale yet. If i could give 6 stars i would. Makes bass pro look like dime store quality.

This place is really a site to see. It includes a ferris wheel ($1 to ride), arcade shooting games, and even talking historical figures (These are my favorite! Kids need exercise AND education). But be prepared, the location of this store and its brand new giant building at e reflected in the prices of most of the items. You can still find a deal, but itll be a challenge. If youre not afraid of high end items with fancy prices, you can find almost anything you need.

Best Customer Service!! I had a weight belt that I bough and didnt realize it was the wrong size until after I already wrote my name on the inside. I called in and they said it was no big deal and hat they could sand it off. I brought it in to get a new size and there was a $30 price difference for some reason. It took getting verification from different departments but they worked with me to do an even exchange. Great place, great service, great Ferris wheel!!
