I was in the market for a cheap/mid-range racquet last year. I thought the selection at a specialty store would be limited or expensive, but I found plenty of reasonably priced options at the store. The owner was really helpful in finding the right one for me without any sales pressure. Being able to "demo" a couple of racquets at a time ($5 to borrow for two days, I think) was really helpful for picking the right one. The nice thing is that the demo fees can be applied toward the racquet purchase when youve made up your mind. I would definitely recommend this store to others.

Great service, great expertise, solid value. Ended up buying a pair of court shoes at a discount - they were last years model. They have all the top shelf stuff that you could want for tennis. My friend also used to get his racquet strung here before he bought his own stringing machine (and my friend knows his tennis). Not sure if the market is large enough here, but it got a little crowded when another customer showed up and the sole employee (owner?) had to balance both of us. Maybe have another employee on weekends?

The owner is helpful and very knowledgeable. Since Ive started playing a lot more over the last year, I was looking to upgrade from the cheap starter racquet Id been using, but not pay $200+ for a top grade racquet. I explained to him my playing style and the problems I was having with my current racquet, and he provided me with several options that would work for me. Good selection of new equipment, but you can also get good deals on used, demo, and discontinued racquets. Would recommend to a friend.
