***UPDATE*** I just bought my second Jeep from Granger motors. Once again, everything was great. Best price on our new Jeep. Best trade-in value. Best financing offers. Best service. When the time comes, well be back for a third. ***Original Review*** The entire staff at Granger Motors was friendly, completely professional, and most importantly, honest and not pushy! Time and again, weve tried shopping at that other "big" Jeep dealership because Urbandale was close by. Each time, theyve lost our business by consistently undervaluing our trades and presenting us with downright false numbers when it comes to pricing and interest rates. When I looked at a Jeep there, they low balled me on my trade by their usual $2,000, brought out a price far different from their advertised price, and then they quoted me a payment in the 800s! Its insulting and predatory. I valued my own trade. I know my credit score is worth more than the 16% interest rate they were pushing, and I know what a new car sells for. What about the customer that goes there without being armed with that sort of information? Theyre gonna get swindled. Granger was different. They were open late at 8pm to let me shop. They gave me the price as advertised (already lowest around) with no gimmicks and no fight. They gave me a fair offer for my trade. They checked their lender network for the lowest rate they could find and offered an interest rate lower than I might have gotten at my own credit union. Then they had all the paperwork ready for me and the Jeep all washed and gassed up the next day so I could pick it up after work. I couldnt have made it go any better if I tried. When its time for a new Jeep (or Ford, Chrylser, or Dodge, for that matter) they will likely be the first and only place I shop.

Bought my vehicle there a couple years ago. To begin with I was lied to about a few things. Before I bought the Durango it had two flat tires. I was told they will be fixed if I bought it. The vehicle had no rear or third row floor mats. Was told if I bought the vehicle they would make sure I got some. I asked repeatedly if the vehicle was in any accidents. I was told no. I bought the Durango. I was told they had to get the floor mats. Ok. The tires were inflated but the next morning when I went out, the same two tires flat against. I took it back to dealership. I was told again they fixed them. Nope the next flat! I had to go buy a whole set of tires I bought two days prior. Big O Tires told me the sidewalls were bad and they couldnt be fixed. Fast forward to present day. I gave up on the floor mats a long time ago. I went to trade my vehicle in and low and behold I found out the Durango was in an accident. I called Granger and talked to Zac and told them what I had found out. They said on their vehicle report it showed no accident. He said he would look into it. Got a call back a few hours later and guess what I was told.at the top of the report it said it was not in accident but if you continued reading down the report it stated it was in some kind of accident but he (Zac) couldnt find out what had been done to it because the shop who did the work could not find out what work was done to the Durango because the body shop put in a new computer system acouple of years ago and they couldnt find the paperwork. (Convenient). Zac then told me that most sales people would probably miss this on the car report and he was sure the salesman didnt mean to deceive me. Now I cant get what I should on my trade in because of the accident. Good jog Granger. Way to treat a Veteran!

**read review*** bought my car about a month and a half ago. Went to Granger because of a referral from a family friend. Had a normal/good experience while buying from Eric and the financial guy (sorry I dont remember his name) was awesome. I love the Nissan Maxima I bought from them and was given a good price. Went home happy until 2 days later the check engine light came on. (And no it wasnt the gas cap, and yes I bought it used and as is). But come on, two days later?? I called the salesman, Eric, right away and he said "sorry you bought it as is, take it to get the engine scanned", but according to his manager they would only pay up to $100 towards whatever was wrong. Now Im no car person, but I know these check engine lights can be reset in order to make a quick sale. I was furious. Later I got a regular "congratulations for your new car" email from Zach, the operations manager/owner. I emailed him back and let him know the situation. And he responded right away and wanted to make the situation right. Which was great, and instantly made me feel so much better. So I took my new car back in to be looked at. Only to take it back again 3 times because the check engine light kept coming back on even after their service team checked it and worked on the car, and even the Nissan dealership looked at it. Yes, this seems like a bad review, But it was definitely a weird circumstance and Zach, and Sean from the service team made up for it with their great customer service and their willingness to work with me and make the situation right. I couldnt ask for more, they supplied a free rental, and always got my car in as soon as I contacted them. Just GREAT customer service in my opinion and I truly appreciate it. You guys are awesome! Thank you so much Zach and Sean!!

Went to Granger because of a decent price for a car online. Decided to buy and then were hit with the new-normal document fee. Why I have to pay them to do their paperwork is beyond me. Salesman Bill then said "we put a little gas in the car" and I questioned that. In the 14 or 15 new and used vehicles I have bought, never has it not been full when I left the dealer. He said company policy was to not fill used, only new. I questioned that but received no offer to do anything more. So, for the $10-15 it would have cost to fill this car my review went from 4+ to only 3. I didnt feel that they did anything to keep me as a return buyer hence the "Its okay" rating. I did email the sales manger with these same concerns 30 hrs. before typing up this rating but no response there either. The business office staff was awesome. EDIT: After a conversation with Zach and a better mutual understanding I believe that Granger Motors was willing to step up and make sure the customer was important to them. I am changing to a 5 star review. I was told the sales manager was out of the office during the 30 hrs mentioned earlier and could not have responded.

What an incredible experience to work with Grangers expert (and helpful) team. I located the vehicle I had been trying to track down for over a year with low mileage. Yes, it was three hours away but between the computer, phone calls and texting, these guys were able to make it a reality for me during one of the busiest times of my summer, as a business trip abroad was in place and happening. at the same time. They did all the legwork for me so when I arrived in Granger, it was down to signature time. And what a great team of personable, friendly people. I walked out of there feeling like I had just purchased a vehicle from a team that I had known for years. I am truly looking forward to heading back for my oil-changes as their power train warranty was too good to pass up. I cant wait to pop my head in to say hey to the Granger team. I am a fan and would highly recommend talking to these guys if you are in the market for not only a new vehicle, but looking to work with a trustworthy and competent team. Thanks Granger Motors! And thanks Gordon Becton, you made it happen for me. I enjoyed working directly with you.
