From the moment I first made contact with Indigo Body Art Gallery I was completely Impressed. I took the time to look up a few shops around the area because I was in need of a new artist. I came across Indigo through the Google reviews and later looked up their Facebook page. The amount of satisfied customers who took the time to write a good review for them was impressive and this is what motivated me to make a call and see if I could come in for a consultation. Kaylee the gal that answered the phone was pleasant and enthusiastic, she answered my questions as much as she could and offered me to stop by and get the process started. Upon arriving at the shop Gish another artist at the shop greeted us with the best service and attention my wife and I have ever gotten from a tattoo shop. She was pleasant, respectful, understanding and patiently listened to our idea and was quick to offer suggestions. My wife and I ended up setting up and appointment time that day. Mark (the owner) ended up doing both of our tattoos, he is probably of the funniest guys I have ever met, he is blunt and honest and straight to the point. He answered our questions and proved to be very knowledgeable and skillful. Of course we did not expect anything less form a man who has been in the industry for many years. He is definitely an adult, running an adult establishment so expect adult language. On the drive home I just kept ragging to my wife about what a cool dude he was and what an awesome shop he was running. I have been in the service industry for a few years while I am in school and I have a passion for business that do "good business and Indigo is the absolute best. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT Our tattoos look great, and we are sure to go back again for more!

I wasnt sure what to expect when we pulled up to Indigo Body Art Gallery. I think most of us have the stereotypical idea of what a tattoo shop looks like: grimy, poorly lit, filled with ill tempered people whod rather stab you in the neck than say hello. Im happy to report that Indigo Body Art Gallery is none of those things. Mark and Gish greeted us immediately and were both friendly and professional in equal measure. We didnt have an appointment but they were more than happy to help us with what we wanted (my wife and daughter both got a Daith piercing). Ive been kicking around the idea of getting a tattoo for several months so I began asking questions. Once again Mark was very helpful and informative. I figured since we just walked in I would be unable to get any work done, but I was wrong! Mark was hard at work with other projects but a nice lady named Kaylee was able to fit me into her busy schedule. I have to admit I was a bit nervous at first, but Kaylees attitude and sense of humor put me right at ease. She did a great job and I couldnt be happier. Another area that blew me away was pricing. Ive heard horror stories about being charged outlandish amounts for subpar work, but that was not the case here. I thought the prices were more than fair (and dont forget to leave a tip!). To sum up: very clean shop, friendly staff, fair prices. This was my first tattoo and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. If anyone in my family decides to get any more work done we will be going to Indigo Body Art Gallery. Whether you are heavily inked or getting your very first piece you cant go wrong with this shop. Tell them Kevin sent you (granted they will probably look at you strange and ask who the heck that is, but Ive always wanted to say that)!

Ive had tattoos done in three different states from three different tattoo artists, and I wont EVER go to another place now. Mark is extremely talented; you bring him an idea for a tattoo, hell make it better than what you imagined. If you want to go to a place with the 50 flip charts that have all the rehashed images and youll basically be picking something 1000 people have already, then this isnt the place for you. But if you want something meaningful to you, an idea or aspect of yourself youd like represented on your body, then Indigo is it. Youre not really just getting a tattoo, but rather commissioning artwork. Ive had 5 pieces done here, and will more than likely get more whenever the light-bulb goes off in my head about some new idea or facet of me Id like represented. Simply put: If you have an idea and would like to pursue it artistically, let Mark do his thing and help reimagine it into something that youll be happy carrying with you. Its something youll have for the rest of your life, so you owe it to yourself to see someone that understands that, and will ensure its a piece youll feel perfectly embodies the aspect or story of yourself you want to tell.

Let me tell you this, I got impressed when I first stepped into the shop, its a big shop and he is all by himself, the point is that everything in the shop is so neat, how magazines placed, how DVDs lined up and how clean the restroom is. It seems that I am talking irrelevant things but Im not, all this made me decide I want to have my first tattoo in this shop because all this reflect that the owner is very careful on every single detail, imagine how he is gonna put the work with that kind of carefulness! I even want to say he has a little bit of obsessive compulsive disorder ( No offense, just kidding), what I mean is that he is a perfectionist wants everything to be perfect. He is really professional too, and definitely not a Tattoo Sales Man who just wants to make money, he is a real artist and love your tattoo to be perfect. I am really satisfied with my first lettering tattoo on my upper arm. If you are considering to get a life-time mark too, you definitely want to do it here. BTW, he is funny and easy going person too. The gear is clean and professional. Thanks!

I just got my nose pierced tonight and it was an amazing experience...Mark was incredibly knowledgeable, as others have mentioned. He was great to work with, answered all of my questions, calmed my fears before my piercing and was genuinely kind to work with. Everything was clean, sterilized, and professional. He explained everything before and after, and I would strongly recommend anyone who wants a piercing to see Mark at Indigo. Thanks again! Update: If youre looking for a tattoo or piercing, this is the place to visit...Mark, the owner, is one of the kindest business owners youll meet...he cares about whats best for you and runs his business very professionally, cleanly and beautifully. I got my nose pierced there last year and came in for a new nose ring earlier today. He was so accommodating and kind and so easy to speak with. The atmosphere is bright, clean, beautiful, tasteful...I just cant say enough about Indigo and Mark...two thumbs up, ten stars, highly recommend to others looking for the BEST experience in town!

Hey, everyone. Ive been to Mark many times for piercings and always have left extremely pleased and confident that it was done correctly and well. He takes what he does very seriously and is the only one I will go to for any piercing or tattoo service. I found him by accident, but it was the best accident that couldve happened. He cares about everyone that walks through his door and doesnt settle for anything less than the best. A lot of times in this industry you will find people who just want your money, but he strives to provide as affordable service as possible with the best results. Hes willing to work with you and help make your experience fun and enjoyable. Just by talking with him, you will know hes done his research and continues to do so to maintain an up to date, safe, best of the best practice. In my mind, there is no other option, at least in this area. Im currently working on my first tattoo ideas with him and am looking forward to seeing the results! Seriously. Go see Mark. You wont be disappointed.
