Of all the Kmart stores Ive been to, this one is probably the best of them. I regularly leave this store having bought something more than what I had intended originally intended to. The prices (especially clearance) are overall very good, and the Layaway option year-round comes in handy. This location is very clean compared to other Kmarts Ive been to as well. The main problem for me with this Kmart store is the employees. Most, especially in the evening, are teenagers who seem like they could care less about customer service and more about chit-chatting amongst themselves. Overall though, I would still recommend this store, especially above other stores in the area like Walmart (which is a whole other story...). Not too bad at all.

Worst experience ever!! I went in about 8p and the store is gross. The bathroom was dirty and no toilet paper. I told the employees who were taking selfies and they laughed. I was in the check out Lane and the cashier sent me to another Lane so she can stand and talk. The other cashier didnt even acknowledge my existence because she was talking to other employees. My stuff didnt even ring up correctly, when I told her she just said my total again. I looked for a manager and everyone was standing and talking. Needless to say I will be going back tomorrow to talk to a real manager and they will get all their crap back!!! THIS IS WHY EVERYONE SHOPS ONLINE!!!!

I believe its the only store for miles and miles around. Kmart stores have been rapidly closing everywhere, its sister company Sears also going out of business. Sears already closed its doors here in Valparaiso. Kinder sad, its been part of this community for many years. Kmart seams to be shrinking as well, you will no longer find tv sets, radios or much of any electronic at all in this store! Its no longer available for sale here.

This store must not want business. They have open and closing hours for a reason. Went to go pick something up that I had ordered and they closed early!!! Lights off and parking lot empty....wont be doing that again!

The prices are good. The Shop Your Way Rewards program is good. The staff are usually friendly. I hope this K-mart will stay open given all the K-mart and Sears stores that have been closed recently.
