I would consider myself as quite the handy man, and I often use this Menards to supply projects from small hobbies to repairs, maintenance, and upkeep on two investment properties. A majority of the products here are definitely a good quality for the money, with a few exceptions, but this is usually where I find the best deals for what I need. THAT aspect of the store is what I can say is good. The service is not so much.. I have personally been there and seen the employees literally STANDING around and talking, I felt I would have interrupted a conversation just to get a little help! Then they must all run and hide, because when you do need one they are few and far between!!

Menards has good sales and most of their products are good quality but a lot of their employees are rude, and if you ask a question about something they usually cant answer your questions, and when you need help with something I have had several employees say " give me a minute and I will be right with you " then they disappear and cant be found,,they should retrain their employees or hire people that know what they are doing, maybe ask Lowes how to deal with customers, they always known the answers to your questions and will help you right away !

So bought a reclining chair at Richmond Menards tonight. I dont know the womens name but her and my husband went upstairs to get it. She said theres no one in my department that can help me, are you able to get it? So my husband had to climb up shelfs too get it and she never once offered to help! Luckily everything was fine and he didnt get hurt. That easily could have been a lawsuit. Then after checkout she left and didnt help load it! A stranger stopped to help! Get it together Menards!

The manager Ken at the service desk was very demeaning towards me when I inquired about a rebate I was to get on a 5 gallon bucket of paint. The paint department territory manager Mike was the one who helped me get the paint. Turns out Mike grabbed the wrong paint, and made it for me. On that paint there was no rebate. This is the second time within a month a manager was rude and treated me in a poor manner. On a good note the gentleman in the door section was very helpful.

Best prices of all DIY stores and much better service. Im a contractor and I get a contractor rebate on the spot. You also get an immediate rebate if you have a Menards card. If you are lucky to get the 11% rebate offer, takes advantage of it! Its mail in but you get an actual check back from Menards with the 11%

Very disappointed in ranunculus qt plants I purchased. I purchased 6 for $35.94, not cheap, and they are all dieing. Have a friend that also purchased some and hers are also dieing. Followed the planting instructions, have them in different areas, same result. Disappointed to say the least. Back to Lowes!

All the people there very friendly Expecially manager Ken and Adam from the paint department I think.... Adam jumped right in and helped me put a bathtub in the truck. Also the girl in The front of the store that announces the store was going to close was very friendly as well I didnt catch her name. 8/15/17

I wont buy from menards especially when they have there 11 % rebate cause they say u r saving money and how in the world can u save money when u have to pay full price for the item and then have to use the rebate in the store. u arent saving a darn penny. I can go to lowes and save 10% on everything.

Menards seems to have everything -- with good to great pricing. And if not stocked, then online. Tonight for me was electrical, last week plumbing. Checkout was a bit slow -- lots of customers for their 4th-of-July sale.
