Elstro Auto is by far one of the best family owned businesses in Richmond, Indiana. The staff at Elstro Auto always go the extra mile when caring for my vehicles. All of their services they offer are top notch. I recommend them to anyone looking for a quality company that works hard for their customers and are extremely focused on making the customers pleased with the service. Matt & Ashley Elstro are great people focused on caring for the needs of the Richmond Community. Dave Vanover with all his auto sales expeience is a great asset to the Elstro team as well. He is helping make the car buying process as easy as possible for his customers. We limped into Richmond Indiana at 6 pm on a Tuesday. And everything was closed. Using a basic Google search we found Elstros Auto and parked the car right before the car died. When we arrived the next morning, Matt was quick to assess the situation and worked us in as soon as he could. He worked quick and got us out before noon - within only a few hours. We cannot thank him enough for all he did for us. In addition, the garage was very nice - clean and accessable. We were approached by a lady (I didnt catch her name! Im so sorry) who was very accomadating and showed us the bathroom, lounge and offered us water for our puppies and us. They definitely were the bright spot in a bad situation.

I always hated trying to find an auto repair shop that I could trust. I am not an auto person, and could easily be taken for a ride. I trust Matt Elstro 100%, there were times I thought I had an issue and he said, its fine and no need to change it out as it has plenty of life left. That did it for me as he could have replaced it and I would have been clueless. Plus their shop, the actual repair area, is cleaner than some restaurants I have been in. lets face it, if they care enough to keep their repair area spotless, then its clear to me they have pride in all areas of their business!

Even though I really dont enjoy paying for car repair and maintenance...shocker...this company is very forthright and easy to work with. If they see something that needs repaired they will take the time to write up an estimate on the bottom of the bill, as well as take the time to speak with the customer, and tell them what all they found and repaired! I would highly recommend this company to anyone who need either car repair/maintenance or to do just a simple car detail! All around great company to work with!
