JASON WILLIAMS visit to SOUTH SIDE AUTO SALES. We have complete VIDEO of your actions and comments about your TRADE IN. Your comments about your attempts to trade your vehicle at 4 other dealerships that apparently would not accept it either. We have you quoting laws that in your own words say that we " have to take your trade in even if it wont pass emissions, and that we have to make sure our vehicles will pass. These laws do not exist. We have our retail vehicles pre tested & passed as a courtesy. This is not something we are required to do. And as for your trade in, we are not required to take a trade at all. You were treated very nicely until your actions required us to ask you to leave. You threw a fit in front of the child that was with you and you spoke directly to him trying to include him in your rant. Maybe child services will be interested in seeing how you acted and how you repeatedly stuck of your middle finger and cursed as you finally left. All this in front of the child you were supposed to protect. This is a very short summery of our experience with Mr Williams. He went on and on and on rambling off about anything and everything. Very hard to follow what points he was attempting to make. he was just going to have his way if he could get it. Im sure the other dealers he visited saw exactly the same actions we saw and probably did not want him as a customer. Tell the truth Jason. You know you were very out of line.

I got my oil changed here on June 20th and while they were changing the oil, the mechanic asked me to come out to my vehicle because hed like to show me something. He showed me that my front tires were wearing on one side and told me I needed an alignment (true), but that I should replace the front passenger-side tire asap. I knew they sold used tires for $26, so I told them to go ahead and replace that tire. 10 Days later (6/30) I was driving to get my alignment done and halfway there, I thought I had a flat. I pulled over and the tread on the tire i had just bought had shredded away! I called to ask them what they could do for me and was instructed that I could buy another for $26 because the warranty was only good for 3 days. I accepted that and just thought I had bad luck. Once I was towed to my mechanic, they looked at the tire that Southside had put on my car and found that not only was it the wrong SIZE but the wrong type. Now, I dont know much about cars or tires, but the mechanic explained to me what kind of tires I needed (because i had to buy new ones) and that I needed V or H line tires. The tire Southside placed on my car was a T line. They still had no comment and told me I was welcome to purchase another one for $26, because it was my responsibility to check all of that. yeah. dont buy tires from there, unless YOU hand-pick them!!

I purchased a used Grand Cherokee from South Side in November of 2005, since driving off the lot it has been nothing but a hassle. The salesman convinced me to buy this Jeep as opposed to a 94 that I was looking at by saying "You dont want that Jeep, this one is a better option". Granted buying a used car some flaws are to be expected. But my first hint that something was wrong was when I pulled off the lot and noticed they had left their battery jump box in the back seat of the car...a month later I had to replace the battery. When I bought the car the stereo had been stolen out of it off the lot, the told me they would reimburse me for the cost of the stereo, after having it installed I found all the speakers were blown...ALL of them were blown, they offered 50 dollars to compensate me. While cleaning it out one day i noticed the door hinges had been welded back on, and found broken glass in the drivers seat, the hood had obviously been repaired or replaced..,..the list goes on to include awful alignment/camber problems, radiator leaks, window malfunctions and the screen that alerts problems is stuck on "Rear lamp failure". They are swindelers and shisters. Do not even consider purchasing from them.

If you have any options other than this place, go there. This company preys on the desperate. A friend of mine bought her car from these people just under 2 years ago... At the time she was a new mom, full time student and working part time. Her car broke down, so she needed a car quick. They charger her about $8k for a car worth about $4k. She had less than six months to go on her loan and it would have been paid off. She recently had a bad turn of events and was a little strapped for money. She fell behind by two weeks; she was in arears by about $150. They repoed her car on Saturday morning. The dealer doesnt have weekend hours so we had no way to contact these people to work something out until this morning. When we did call them they told her they wanted the balance plus repo fees - about $3k - in full. The car is worth $1100. We went to speak with them in person to see if something could be worked out. Instead they brought out two trash bags and the car seat for her 2 year old. So like I said above, if you have options other then this company, go there. If you dont, just understand that these people are sleazy, rude and are not there to help you but take you for as much money as they can.

Horrible experience. What ever happened to treating a possible costumer with dignity and respect. All with in 30 mins, I was lied to, bullied and treated like I needed them not the other way around from both the saleman and when things got headed between us over me catching them in lies tje owner stepped out from watching us on camara and even futher shoved his foot in his own mouth. All in front of my son. All because I was asking two many questions. I cant help I am new to soddy and state emissions. And all I was looking for was a fair deal. Lol, I got defensive when the saleman told me that my possible trade in was useless because the check engine light was on... and he could only give me "alittle of the end price" and I would have to still put almost 1500 down. So i played into it and started asking questions. And this was after he was so very eger to take my trade and have me sign on the line for an agreed price. What they didnt know is besides the possibility of signing a lease I was prepared to purchase the jeep for cash. Beware, do not give this company a dime of your hard earned money. Obviously they are crooks and I am so glad I didnt purchase a vehicle from them.

CROOKS, SCAM ARTISTS! I paid $1,300 down on a car and made four payments. Within the months time of making the payments the car cracked a head. I called them to ask what could be done, they suggested I take it somewhere to be fixed. After trying to get some kind of help from them after giving them all of my money, I told them I would have to return the car. They called me names, cursed me over the phone and told me they would make sure I lost my job and that they would ruin my credit. I filed a better buisness bureau claim just asking for my down payment back, they replied saying they dont owe me anything and that they are working towards trying to make me lose my job. Terrible people, hopefully the place will burn to the ground so no one ever has to be scammed again, this place IS the reason used car sales have such a bad reputation, south side, die in a fire.
