I live 4.5 hours away from Newbugh but travel frequenly for weekend trips. Basically if I dont make it to the Rivertown Butcher Friday night or Saturday morning my trip to souther Indiana isnt the same. This place has the thickest cuts of meat Ive ever found, and it is the most tender beef Ive ever tasted. I love steak, and even when I cook their ribeye on the grill I prefer it over the most expensive steakhouses Ive been to(They offer great seasonings too). Prices on ribeye and sirloin are just as low as anywhere else, but expect one of those steaks to weigh in at over a pound and 1/2. In all honesty it is probably my favorite place to shop in all of Indiana. A+++ John Zarse West Lafayette, Indiana

I have heard from your manager that you have toyed with the idea of putting one in Owensboro Please, Please, concider one seriously. We need a good shop and I have really raved about yours to our friends You meat is displayed in a very clean and lit-up establish. They are presented beautifully laid out with also helpful advice on cooking procedures. I dont forsee any stumbling blocks in creating such an establishment in our town. We need such a place here.
