Store is good old fashioned butcher. I ordered a whole bone-in "city" ham for Christmas, ended up at 17 lbs. It had a perfect smoked flavor throughout the meat and very little fat. So much better than the injected hams found in supermarkets, which is reflected in the cost but well worth it for a holiday or special occasion. Really a better deal since weight is all meat (plus bone) and not salt water. Also picked up some Andouille sausage which was great scrambled with eggs, potatoes and onions.

Hands down the single best meat market in the area. In addition to all the amazing meats, they have a huge selection of burgers, kabobs, sausages and all the sides you can think of. The onion butter potato bake is life changing! The service here is impeccable as they are always willing to offer grilling tips or make a proper recommendation based on your recipe. I would think the best review I can give is : We live north of Madison Wisconsin and from the first time I was introduced to Ascot Meats I have been making trips to IL. for all my meat. I order it they freeze it for me and I am a happy man for the month. They are very good in delivering what I ask for. I was going to mention my favorite meats but honestly every thing they have is my favorite.

I had 23 people for Christmas 2015. Ordered a 12.5 lb. standing rib roast and 10 lb. honey-baked ham from Ascot. We finished virtually the entire roast and about two-thirds of the ham, and the meat was terrific. Received helpful cooking directions from the butcher. This is the place to go for terrific meats at reasonable prices in a customer-friendly environment.

The best Meat EVER. Husband and I never buy meat anywhere else. Excellent quality meat. And their home made sides are very good to. And dont get me started on the service. Theyare good people. Make you feel like family. And helpful tips or advice on cooking certain foods. 4 thumbs up.

This is where I get bones for my dog. Theyve always been really friendly and cut the marrow bones down to the size I wanted every time. Their selection of prime meats and their shish kabobs are excellent as well. Highly recommend.

Amazing service. My other half is very picky and the butcher, Eric, trimmed it to her liking and didnt charge extra for the loss of trimmings. Not to mention the filets we bought were melt in your mouth good. Keep up the good work!!
