Took my computer to him for performance issues. Told me he would wipe and restore. No problem. Charged me almost 100 bucks for this simple fix. Got it home and it was still having same issue. Took it back to him and he wouldnt touch it again. So, I asked if I could wipe and reinstall a 32-bit version of windows instead of the 64-bit version. Maybe that would work. He told me how old my computer was (its not THAT old) and that my hard drive may be going out. Maybe it was the ram. So I paid some more money to upgrade ram and installed it myself. After he wiped my pc (including all my office software) I took it back and asked him to reinstall office. He said no and to get with someone going to school so I could get the universities student copy. Finally, I took it to a friends store in Louisville and to make a long story short, my fan was clogged. All he had to do was blow it out. A complete waste of time, money and effort.

Save both your money and your time and take them elsewhere. I paid them $150 to replace a component to my system. I paid at a premium because I needed my computer functioning quickly. What I got was a repair that lasted less than 3 months because the part they used was faulty (I suspect it was used). When asking about a warranty or guarantee of work when the work was done, I was told that I would have to take it up with the part manufacturer if there was an issue, yet I was given no receipt, no box for the parts, nothing that would enable me to pursue getting a faulty device replaced. Service is slow. Given an estimate of 3-4 days to look at my system turned in to daily calls and a two week span of which I was told that they were "still waiting" to look at my system. Im just grateful I got it back. If you need computer services in a timely, reasonable, and professional manner, this is not the business you want.

Incredible service. I am not related to them in any way, but let me tell you how well they treated me. First a few months ago I call to find out if they had a cheap monitor,key board,mouse, and a power cord. They let me have an older monitor that works perfectly, then the mouse $10.00, key board $10.00, used power cord $5.00... all work perfectly. This helped a lot. Then this week my computer quit. They not only fixed it to were it is working better than it ever did new, they made the price right three different ways. In other words I cannot be more pleased. On top of that I watched them very patiently wait on other people with computer problems in a compassionate way I have not seen in a long time. So if you want your problem solved at a more than fair price, and be treated with a customer care way above anything I have seen, then take your equipment to them. This place is a joke. They kept my computer for 2 weeks, didnt fix it and wouldnt keep me in the loop with what was going on with it. I had to call several times before they would even look up the part numbers I needed. I think they didnt want to fix my computer and just wanted to wash their hands of it. But of course they didnt even have the courtesy to call and tell me that. If you do decide to go here (before they go out of business), be aware that they charge a $30 deposit before theyll look at your computer and an additional $50 on top of that if you want them to save anything on it, including internet favorites, music, photos, etc. This place is not recommended at all.

These must be fake reviews! This place is very unprofessional and gives terrible customer service. The guy wouldnt even listen to my problem, just handed me a form, told me I had a virus, and said it would cost $160. I should have walked out then, but I know nothing about computers and took his word. They never called to tell me when it was finished. Finally after over a week I called and they said it was done. Picked it up and I still have the same problem I brought it in for after paying $160 for it to be fixed. My sons friend fixed my problem in about 5 minutes. Go here at your own risk people!

Richard and Holly are awesome. Richard built my computer for me in 2010 I am running almost a terrabyte with triple screens. I got the screens for $50 each and the service was awesome.The build was less than 1000.00. cheaper than any namebrand crap with more juice on the market He keeps people with him that enjoy what they are doing, this is important to me, if you love your job you do it better. He is little crass and tells like he sees it, if your comp is not worth saving he will tell you right up front, I call that honesty.... you will not find that in a chain electronic store anywhere.

I used MCGs in Jeffersonville several times, they have always been good with service, information, and explanation. I would go to them before any big box store. If you are using a PC and if your computer is having problems, check with them first. They know their stuff. They may not have the most inviting atmosphere, but they are basically computer mechanics. The place I take my car is not a show room either, so expect the same from MCG. If it is worth fixing, then they can do it, and do it right. And no, Im not a fake review, Im a real customer.

I had them build me a top-notch gaming computer with dual linked video cards that has been absolutely awesome. Several gamers have tried my 3 year old machine and swear mine is better than theirs which are newer and faster. They have also repaired my cell phone and done a great job.

Showed up at 10am on Saturday when this place was scheduled to open. Waited for 30 minutes and called several times and no one answered. This is one of the most unprofessional things a small business owner could ever do. Maybe next time say your hours could vary!

This business is unprofessional, with bad service. Dont believe the fake reviews on here. Save your money and your time and go somewhere, anywhere, else. Even Staples and Office Depot will repair computers now.

I would send all my friends and family here if they had any issue with their computers. I had a laptop that had malware on it and I got it back the same day to took it in!! The price was reasonable too!!!
