I visited the store on 11/25 in the evening. I brought in my wifes laptop that was close to a year old. It has not been working well from day one. I asked if we could get it exchanged, thinking I was using the word trade from some reason (my fault). Well they brought me to the tech help section of the store, and when I asked what we could do, the lady helping me got really defensive like I was asking for new laptop free of charge. I tried to clarify myself by asking "are there any options I have to replace this laptop", but she was rude to me like I have been in there 10 times already asking for free things, which never happened. She further said, after I explained others have told me this store will replace items if your not happy, "maybe we can do a trade" and then I said, "yes that is what I mean, a trade, I dont expect a new computer". I actually even said "I am not trying to be aggressive or ask for something for free, I just want to hear my options". She introduced me to a nice sales person, and she had a better attitude at that point, but the experience was horrible. This happened all while I was holding my kid, so it was kind of awkward that she was like that in front of my kid. Anyhow, I have been in the store in previous occasions and the staff there, such a Zach, were awesome and really helped me out. This is why i could not put a one star. I have never left a bad review anywhere, this is my first, but I will never deal with that lady again. Aside from the tech help section (two people behind the desk), which basically treated me like a repeat offender, the sales people are helpful.

I gave my laptop(Lenovo Z570) to install Windows 10 in the last week of July 2016. Tech inspected my laptop and informed that they can install Windows 10, based on their diagnostic reports. I was okay with that, but after installation, I found my data on partition drives was erased & Windows 10 was not even working properly, it just freezes up whenever I open explorer or any app. So tech kept my laptop back & did a fresh install. Since I live about 60 miles away from this store, I asked if they can send my laptop after installing windows 10 to my home. Two weeks later, I received it and imagine what there was Windows 7 installed on it. Called them up today and asked whats the reason ? Tech said my laptop is not compatible!!! So they had to install Windows 7. What the hell ... I called them up and talked with manager, if they can do something about it. Because I had lost everything on my laptop, just because of Windows 10 installation. And now I am in situation, where I dont have Windows 10, lost my data and ended up traveling to this place about 4 times... Dont believe tech support, if they say they can install Windows 10. Feeling so frustrated about this Windows 10 installation. Store manager is offering a 10% discount for this crap that they did with my laptop.

Today I bought $2000 of merchandise at this store, and I never got as much as a smile from an employee. I walked right in knowing what I wanted (Surface Book 8GB RAM/dGPU), and of course they tried to get me to buy a more expensive model, which I politely turned down. I had a couple of questions I wanted to get cleared up, which I tried to ask an employee. It was clear she had no idea what I was talking about (Sleep of Death, a common Surface issue), but she acted like she did and just told me what I wanted to hear. She then disappeared before I could ask her any other questions. When I finally found her again, ready to check out, she acted like taking $2000 of my money was a pain in the ass and dragged her feet. Her attitude got even worse once I checked out and she was helping me set the computer up. I wish she had been more gentle with it (its mine now, not hers), but she was jabbing around on the screen and agressively tapping the keypad. Meanwhile she was talking to her co-workers about how she was going to take a job at Best Buy (talking up the competition in front of a customer, classy) and paying no attention to me. I walked out of the store frowning and annoyed, which is something no store should want.

Called ahead of time and asked if they matched prices for Windows 8.1, I was told they would so long as it was a brick and mortar. After I arrived to purchase the OS and showed then the other stores price they then told me it had to be a regional store. I then found a regional stores price on my phone in the store which was $30 cheaper. The representative, who seemed to take it personally that I was asking for a price match, refused to match it after I had already been told they would because since it is an online price it didnt count. I then went to Staples instead who matched the other price right away. I gave it one star due to poor customer service from the representative who had an attitude and not being able to follow up on a guarantee which is quite common amongst stores of this size.

Ive been visiting this store since it opened in 2012. I purchased my Surface from here shortly after they came out. Since then this location has helped me out when I was having some issues with it. Both issues had to do with the touch screen. When I took it into them there was no hassle and they swapped it out with a new one both times under the manufacture warranty. They staff in the store are very friendly and helpful. Theyll answer any questions you have and do it in a way that doesnt make you feel like an idiot. Theyre super pumped about new products that come out and want to show you all the features and what makes them so awesome. Ive always been a fan of Microsoft over Apple and am so glad they have a store here in Indy to help out whenever I need it.

Service has been excellent - over the holiday season it was very busy but the staff acknowledged me promptly and helped answer my questions. I bought a Lenovo AIO27 which unfortunately didnt work properly so I returned it - what a great experience! Very easy, no hassle, exactly as it should be. Antoine was especially helpful and took the time to walk me through some other options - I went home and checked pricing online, but ended up coming back to buy at the store because of Antoine and because I knew from experience that they would stand behind their products. I am now looking to buy a new gaming laptop and although the price online is a bit lower elsewhere, I will be buying from Microsoft directly.

I am very happy and impressed with the products. However the staff know very little beyond surface information. I have been there on four separate occasions to ask questions about both my surface pro 3 and my surface 3. Both of which I purchase at the store. Staff were unable to resolve any of the issues. They would start to Google or Bing or both, to try and find answers unsuccessfully in front of me. I came in to talk to an expert. I Thanked them for their time and left with no resolution. My issues ranged from difficult software errors to very simple hardware questions. They try to be helpful and kind but they know very little.
