The customer service at this store is imbecile! Susan, who was working as a cashier when I visited provided us with world class A++++ service. Our Barnes and Noble Club Membership was missing the phone number on our account and every time I went into the store I had to spell out my email address. Without even asking she noticed it was missing the phone number and wrote down our account information and phone number and added it to the system at a later time as she was respectful of those behind us in line. We shop a great deal at B & N and no one ever offered to do this for us even though many of them commented that the number was indeed missing. Its been this way for some time through at least 20 purchases at other B & N locations. Thank you Susan and thank you management for seeking out employees who go the extra mile. I nominate her for a promotion! :)

Its very rare to get great service these days, so when I do, I like to share it as it seems many times the only reviews are when people are upset. I purchased a new nook from here around Christmas time, and it unexpectedly died last week. These things happen, so I called the warranty line and they had me return that one and promptly sent out another preowned nook. This one was also non functioning when it arrived. I went into this store and the manager Margie took great care of me. When she realized the situation, she contact the warranty line, empathized with me and decided to replace the new broken one with a brand new model, even though this is not standard. That is taking care of your customers and creating a fan. A situation that could have been a huge dissatisfaction wound up winning me over. Thank you Margie, we will be back soon.

Any time Im in the Indianapolis area, I set aside at least half a day to explore the architecture and interior Noble books. You will not find a more accessible and comprehensive selection of books pertaining to art, design, critique, and instruction anywhere. They also carry a selection of art and design-related periodicals that may be difficult to locate in other book stores. You also find unique post cards and stationary. The few times I needed assistance, the staff was very helpful and informed.

Theyre very racist. Baristas dont wait on black people. They completely ignore you. Its like walking into 1930 montgomery,al. They need to hang a sign out front saying no blacks allowed. Manager just laughed about it. Cant wait for them to go out of business.

Nice Barnes and Noble. Surprisingly I just felt like they could have had more stock compared to others of their stores. I decided to drop a star because I just bought a book that was 30% more in store than their site. Kinda ridiculous.

It was hard to leave barns and noble the last time I was there do to the Large Harry Potter section they had. My daughter loves Harry Potter and Barns and Nobles just made her Christmas!!!!!!
