Ive never been fond of the Highland Ulta but I am completely done with this store now. This store runs rampant with rude and apathetic staff. I booked my second appointment at the brow bar and was told Id have to wait nearly an hour to be seen because I was late and the salon observes a 5 minute grace period. They had filled my spot with a walk-in (or perhaps the staff members friend), surely starting her services before my "5 minute grace period" was over. Perhaps the staff would find that conveying this policy to your customers helpful and a way to avoid angering a could-be repeat customer. You know, the people like me responsible for your paycheck. Perhaps these girls will learn that their customers are job security and not an inconvenience and interruption when they are completing salon services on friends. Check your attitudes girls and get real. The customer should always come first.

HORRIBLE! I feel that if you dont walk in with stilletos,a mini skirt,and a full face of makeup, these girls look you up and down and give you the nastiest look ever. I went in one day to just look and over herd one of the employees talk smack about how I looked, I had a football jersey(I like football) jeans and gym shoes on and no makeup (I do wear makeup but that day I didnt) In addition to that I kept getting followed around the store by what I assume was the manager. Every isle I went there she was.I didnt notice until my 5 yr old daughter said "mommy that lady is following us!" Then I got a call from my mother in law and I started speaking in Spanish. Again I over herd one of the employees tell another employee"English please this IS America" ...I put the stuff I was going to purchase down and left! Ill shop the ulta site from now on

The line is always long, the cashiers are always confused when you want to use a coupon or points, and they run out of bonus products very quickly. I started using the salon because the appointment process is online and very convenient. I love my stylist (Lori) who does a great job. But if you book an early appointment, the store is not open and you have to bang on the door. This morning I banged for 10 minutes, and no one could hear me. Finally Lori figured out that I was now late, and remembered to come open the door for me. So, if your schedule is more flexible than mine is, and the fact that the salon is expensive and the service pricing is a little whimsical, then this is the place for you. Ask for Lori, shes amazing.

Went in to look for a specific type of product and when I asked for help I was directed to another sales lady, the first girl went back to putting makeup on her co-worker. When i then asked for an item that wasnt on the shelf the girl looked at me like "how dare you ask me anything." And she told me she would find me somone else to help me. I left without making any purchases, I have been to other Ulta stores before and never got treated so badly. I will not be back to this location.

Autumn is absolutely amazing!! Ive been going to her for over an year and love the work she does. She makes a woman feel beautiful and look fierce! I love her attention to detail and her expert opinion. She is very knowledgeable of the Benefit line and will always go the extra mile to make sure I leave with a smile on my face. Just had the most wonderful skin treatment with Laurel. She is helping me overcome problematic skin. I feel so much better & am able to continue this at home as her instructions are easy to follow (and Id be comfortable going back to ask any questions). What a great, relaxing way to spend my day off!

Good selection. Some shelving junky with partially opened products. As ALWAYS A BITCHY STAFF!! GET IT TOGETHER ULTA and hire nice people.i was not greeted.not asked if I needed help and barely thanked by the cashier wow this is why the Internet is killing brick and mortar stores.

Ulta in highland Indiana is the worst. Girls are rude and not helpful. Upsetting because I spend so much on makeup. Worth the drive to the merrillville store to receive help and kindness!!
