I lived in Henryville 14 years ago and used to go to this store with my family. I visited it today for the heck of it, and I dont think they have changed a single thing in the store in 14 years except for the merchandise. It has an odd smell and it was just a very depressing environment. I should have known it was going to be depressing as soon as I pulled into the parking lot and saw what appeared to be abandoned shopping carts along the edge of the cracked pavement. That being said, they do have low prices. If youre looking for very low prices on Faygo or cereal, this is the place for that. Just be ready to take a Zoloft after your visit.

Stopped in to purchase 15lbs ground chuck and 5lbs platter bacon for a 33%grind. Was told they could grind it but not tonight. Two workers 3ppl in the store. So not particularly upset but curious why a small IGA store would pass up a $80-$90 sale. Unfortunately going to krogers again and saving $ to get my grind.

Most of the employees are friendly. I only go to this store for quick trips when I have forgotten something when I go grocery shopping. They are overpriced on some items.

The best fried chicken, wedges and fish sandwiches. You can also stop in for milk,bread eggs or buy meat bundles, fish (cod) in 10 lb boxes
