I used to love Strack and Van Til and Id shop there daily. Since they removed the self checkouts, however, the store has become much less convenient. They do have 15 items or less aisles, but since they dont enforce the 15 items or less rule, checking out takes me much longer now. I avoid Strack whenever I can and they will continue to lose my business. I find myself going to Walmart more and more for the convenience. In an age where other retailers are trying to make their customers lives easier, Strack and Van Til is bucking the trend.

I love shopping here because the staff is friendly and helpful. The products are always fresh and a variety to choose from. I recommend shopping here if you want to save some money and know your getting a good quality product. The deli and bakery have good choices and produce is fresh. The meat dept also has good quality meat and you can ask to have it cut for you if your looking for something that is not already the way you would like it.

[Update 8/18/17- In my last 2 visits, I have brought home several Items of Raw Protein and Frozen Food that were dangerously Outdated. Be careful, folks.] Generally a good Store, however, they have an unbelievably POOR selection of Wines ... but theres LOTS of it ! Prices seem fair (at best) with relatively broad selections. Sale items are the only way to go. They take coupons, so check ahead before you go. - Article_86

Best fried chicken, hands down! Jennifer in the deli is so kind and gets your order done in a timely, and yet still friendly, manner! Missy in the meat department is such a hard worker and is airways willing to make customers first priority. Great people make a great store!

I do not normally rait supermarkets high, but strack is just a damn good market. They have a great selection of organic food and the non organic is from local sources. They are not the cheapest place to get food. They are the best.

Very clean, quality grocery store. Everything is sorted in sections very clearly. Looks very well maintained and decorated inside. Amazing wine selection. My favorite place to grab groceries.

Seems more expensive than other stores unless you catch a sale. Got rid of self checkout which was my favorite option when I only need a few items since checkout lanes tend to be long.
